Found in Freeport, Maine, this is a PAIR of circa 1870 American drawings, (possibly a bit earlier), the first of General George Washington on a prancing horse, the second of a cut glass compote overflowing with fruit. Each measures 11 3/4" by 8 3/4" inside the mats, 16" by 12" overall, one of the mats deep maroon, the other, black. They are unframed, taped on the reverse to the mats at the edges...
This Staffordshire standing greyhound and hare figurine is 11 1/2" tall. The base is 3 1/4" deep and 9 1/2" long. There are no crack , no chips, and no repairs to this item. This item only has one scratch on his back. This item is circa 1860.

Blowpipes have been used for hunting in some parts of the world, and in Western Flanders blowpipe with darts or arrows was a popular sport for about a hundred years, starting at the beginning of the 19th century. This basked is American, circa 1880. It is white with blue ruffled trim, and has what appears to be mica is the glass. The handle is clear, and it is quite large, measuring 9 1/2" tall x 11" wide and 7 1/2" deep. It is in perfect original condition.

This large, brilliant, cut glass pitcher, measures 11" tall x 5 1/4" diameter on the bottom. I am not an expert on cut glass, but I know a good piece when I see it, and this is one of them. Although I cannot find a signature, I'm sure the pattern will be identifiable to an expert who knows their patterns. There are a couple of very minor flakes at the top, otherwise in perfect condition.

This majolica pitcher has an unusual anchor and chain pattern around the top and pale pink flowers with green leaves on a cream background in the center. It has a brown basket weave bottom. There is some clay shrinkage on the inside. See picture for details. There are no marks.

Stevens & Williams Vaseline Opalescent Epergne stands 13" tall, made in the 1880's! The base is 8" wide. Has a couple of very small bubbles within the bowl. Otherwise, it has no chips or scratches. Excellent condition for something made in the 1880's. The bowl is swirl optic while the horn stem is heavily ribbed. Any questions, please ask.
This millifiore mini ewer was made in the late 1800's. It has a multi-colored handle and stands about 5.25" tall, in excellent condition.
Hobbs, Brockunier & Co., Wheeling, West Virginia produced glass from 1845-1891. This canoe is before 1886 before Hobbs, Brockunier and Co. ceased to exist on December 31 of 1886 and before Hobbs Glass Co. was organized in August of 1886.

The canary canoe is 8 1/4" long and 3" wide at the center.
Pretty pair of enamel bottle tags for "Sherry" and "Gin." The labels are decorated with colorful roses and forget-me-nots. The tags hang from brass chains.

This porcelain dish was produced in Bavaria, Germany by Tirschenreuth in the 1960s. It measures 7 5/8 inches long, 5 3/4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches deep. It is artist signed “Andrews.” The porcelain dish is formed in the shape of a leaf and has a handle on one end. The inside of the dish is hand painted with vividly colored flowers and raspberries. This is a fine grayish lavender opaline vase. Circa 1900. It is 7 1/4" tall by 3 3/4" wide. The inside diameter of the mouth opening is 3" while the collar is only 1 3/4" in diameter.

Arts & crafts period copper dish by Gorham, c.1852-1865. It is signed: "GORHAM CO. Y126 (anchor in lozenge) and additional mark" and measures 9 1/2" by7 1/4" 1" high. It has a bronze color patina with some dark spots. There is a slight bend that can easily be straightened out on an edge.
