Line 700 was produced by Consolidated Glass Company in 1929. Offered here is the #709 bread and butter plate in blue crystal. (The color is the glass itself, not a fired on finish.) A pair of small pottery spill vases, Japan, unmarked, probably Kyoto, 1920’s. Bottle shaped, decorated with hand painted flowers and borders in olive green and black, pink, brown and blue against a cream-coloured background. Height "5/ 12,5 cm. Condition: firing crack to the foot rimof one vase, otherwise fine (cf pictures).

Hand painted vase made by the Alexandra Porcelain Works, Ernest Wahliss in Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia, c. 1911-1912. This vase depicts a maiden walking with her ducks in a country setting on one side while the other side continues with the country scene. It is hand signed by the artist "....... der Classen" at the bottom of the main scene...

Offered is this pair of superb blue pulled-feather stems, made by Durand (Vineland Glass) around 1930. The taller wine glass is 4 1/2 inches tall, while the shorter one is 3 inches tall. Both are in excellent condition and have polished pontils. Though unsigned, they are guaranteed to have been made by Durand (refer to pages 91 and 97 of Meschi's book for similar-shaped stems - shown in last two pictures here for your convenience).

Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Originally produced in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is a rare and beautiful console set made by Victor Durand's Vineland Glass Company, around 1925. The set consists of a large footed bowl and a pair of matched candlesticks. Each of the pulled-feather decorated pieces has an ambergris-colored foot. The bowl is 10 1/4 inches wide at the top and 5 1/4 inches tall. Each candlestick is 5 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches tall...

This fantastic vaseline tumbler is by Fenton Glass as part of a tea or chocolate set. This bright art nouveau vaseline tumbler features two dramatic wheel cut flowers and leaves surrounding the blown panel bowl. The pulled cobalt blue handle is applied. The bottom is smooth with a finished pontil. This elegant piece of art glass is in excellent, unused condition and stands 5 1/4" tall.

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1154 sweet pea vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - in the ruby wash. (This color is a ruby wash applied over crystal glass. It has an almost opalescent quality to it when held to the light.) The vase is approximately 4 1/2 inches high and in perfect condition...

An unsigned Moser style cordial standing 6 inches high. The colorless 4 3/4 inch tall stem is topped by a 1 1/4 inch tall cup decorated with 2 blue marquetry plums and engraved leaves and stems in green. There is no pontil mark and the cordial is perfect.

A complete Dunbar beverage set is hard to find. Usually the tumblers are broken and only the tray caddy survives. This style of beverage service called Bridge Set and its purpose was to be used at the card table. Although it is often referred to as depression glass, it was really manufactured in the 1920’s. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1920s. The saucer is 4 3/4 inches long, 4 1/4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches deep. The cup is 1 3/4 inches high. The set has a quatrefoil shape, with tiny hand painted flowers dotting each piece. The rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent, first quality.
