This vintage Knickerbocker figurine or novelty stem is by Morgantown Glass from the 1940s. It features a crystal clear stem of man in a top hat wearing a monocle (looks like the Planter Peanut's man.) The flared art deco sky blue blown bowl darkens as it forms the base, that is then attached to the stem. The foot is also blue and is blown, finished glass that is also attached to the clear stem He stands 5 1/4" high and is in perfect, unused condition. Highly collectible. Book value $150.

A 12 inch tall iridized green jade vase with iridized gold threading around the top. The unsigned Steuben vase has a polished pontil mark and is in wonderful condition. The vase is shown in the factory line drawings as shape 6776.

A very handsome cut crystal decanter in a most striking shade of green. The decanter, cut with vertical prisms, is very heavy and of the finest quality. The style is very similar to Moser’s post-war designs, and may in fact be by Moser, although it is unsigned.

A beautiful Murano glass aquarium paperweight, designed probably by Alfredo Barbini around 1960. It is 7 1/4 inches (18,4 cm) wide, 5 1/4 inches (13,4 cm) high and 2 1/4 inches (5,7 cm) deep. It is in fine condition (there are some bottom usage-scratches, as might be expected). It has a faded gold label, 'Made in Italy Murano Venezia' (please see last picture).

Description: Very rare and well crafted Persian hand made silver cup, depicting Reza Shah Pahlavi, the founder of Pahlavi dynasty on the front and on the side are Sassanian king Anoosheh Ravan and ancient symbol of archaemennid dynasty. The central figures are surrounded on the upper and lower section with the script commemorating the crowning of Reza Shah. The cup is dated 1311 AH which is 1931. A set of six Art Deco sterling silver rooster cocktail picks by Albert Sydenham, presented in their original fitted box. The roosters are particularly finely detailed and are more three-dimensional than is usual in picks of this type. The interior of the faux-python box is stamped "JC Vickery", a luxury goods dealer that held warrants from most of the English royal family, as well as the Crowns of Portugal, Spain, Denmark, Norway & Sweden...

Presented is this beautiful green-to-amber Murano glass large bowl with turned ends and gold flecks, made most likely by Barovier & Toso.. The heavy glass bowl is 14 1/4 inches (36 cm) long, 9 3/4 inches (25 cm) wide and 4 1/4 inches (11 cm) tall. It is without chips, cracks or repairs. Polished pontil.

Rare blond tortoiseshell case, circa 1930, is considered the most desirable of all tortoiseshell. This handmade case was originally made to hold cigarettes but is a perfect size for business cards. Having a rich amber color and inlaid with a gold diamond shape monogram SH, slightly domed and grained surface, arm swings out from base to create a stand. Measurements: 5"x 3 1/2"x 1/4". Very good vintage condition with minor surface scratches and small chip inside lip.

A terrific Art Deco spun aluminum ice bucket for chilling wine and champagne. The front is decorated with a copper plaque depicting the label of a very well-known French winery in Alsace. The winery is famous for its Riesling, but also for Crémant, a sparkling wine native to Alsace. Alsatian wines are traditionally bottled in tall, narrow bottles, hence the shape of this bucket. The bottom is marked "URBA Made In France"...

The Crinkle pattern was produced by Morgantown glass company in the late 1930's. This is the 6 1/2 inch high juice or martini pitcher in amethyst. The style is called 'Tijuana' and it holds 34 oz. This is a really pretty 11 1/2 inch X 9 inch Oval Platter made by Crooksville China. The Platter has a Wild Roses decoration on it with platinum trim. Oversize salt fired bowl by Cynthia Bringle (legendary American studio potter, born 1939), circa 1970-1980, fresh from a Charlotte NC estate. In excellent original condition. When I looked up this Cobalt Stem made by the Huntington Tumbler Company, I didn't realize that they had two styles: "Ding" and "Dong" -- Really!! It's in the Hazel Weatherman's Book 2. We have three of these stems (Ding), all in mint condition. Who said that glass companies had no sense of humor?

A boxed set of six pewter decanter labels or bottle tags for Scotch, bourbon, gin, vodka, brandy and sherry by Stieff for Historic Newport. Newport, RI was one of the most important pewter-making cities of Colonial America, and these tags are made according the 18th century models.
