Art Deco sculptural vase: young “exotic” girl with a water jar, by Lore Friedrich Gronau for Karlsruhe, dark reddish-brown clay, partly glazed, a kind of faience. Figurines by sculptress and ceramist LFG (1908-2002) for Rosenthal and Karlsruhe often depict dancing or reclining women. Height "4 ¾ / 12 cm. A Carder Steuben green jade and alabaster vase measuring 6 inches tall. The vase is shape 3285 and is unsigned. The raised foot is alabaster and the balance of the vase is green jade. The underside of the foot exhibits a broken pontil mark. There is no damage.
