A beautiful, Murano glass 'Mezza Filigrana' vase, made by Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso. The very heavy glass vase is 11 1/2 inches (29 cm) tall and 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) wide. Good condition, without chips, cracks or repairs (a few bubbles in glass, and age-appropriate base wear, as expected). Unsigned, as expected (a similar vase was sold by Midwest Auction Company on December 1, 2012).

A beautiful, 3-piece, Murano glass perfume set, made most likely by Archimede Seguso, around 1940. It is in their 'Bullicante'/bubbles decor, with pink inner and clear outer casings. The heights of the three pieces are, 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm), 5 7/8 inches (15 cm) and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) respectively. Overall, in good condition - there is a nick on the inner-rim of the powder jar, and, some glue on atomizer to shut outlet. Faded acid-etched signature, 'Made in Italy'.

Pair of Mexican figures in clear and black glass. The clear glass figures have wide black sombrero's, long black mustaches and black arms with folded hands (similar in style to the Oriental figures by Seguso). The taller figure also shows off the toes of his black boots. The taller figure measures 11 inches (27.9 cm). The shorter figure, who appears to be kneeling, is 9.25 inches (23.5 cm) tall. Each figure bears a red and gold foil label with the words 'Murano Glass Made in Italy'...

A beautiful, large art glass bowl, made by Kosta Boda in their 'Unica' series - it was done by Lindstrand. The bowl's coloration fades from purple-to-clear. It is 11 3/4 inches (30 cm) long and 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) high. It is in fine condition (some usage scratches on bottom). Polished pontil. It is signed with acid-etching, 'Lindstrand Kosta' and is numbered, 'L.H.1001'.

Unusual sterling silver bird, an eagle or phoenix, from Taxco, Mexico. Extremely detailed pair of bronze statues of guardians to the Buddha called Niō or Kongōrikishi. While Buddhism usually promotes pacifism, the Nio guardians are said to have justified the use of physical confrontation to fight back against evil. Nio are typically placed on either side of a temple door. One statue, named Misshaku Kongo or Agyo, has an open mouth to represent the first sound in the Sanskrit language "a", symbolizing birth and overt violence...

This print is of two young girls wearing very bright and beautiful kimonos in various shades of green, blue, yellow, pink, and red. One girl holds a fan while the other holds a small toy of a bird. A paper lantern hangs behind the head of the smaller girl. Both girls have precious, doll-like features. Size: 17.5" tall, 30cm wide

Ornate English sterling silver picture frame by Keyford Frames. Featuring a heart-shaped opening with with cherubs at each corner, the frame is hallmarked KFD. Backed in very dark purplish blue velvet, it stands 7.5" high at the highest point x 5.5" wide. The heart-shaped opening will hold a 4" wide x 5.5" high photo. A little wear to the velvet at the bottom, otherwise in excellent condition.

An elegant sterling silver picture frame with a fluted design featuring a cartouche at the top ready to be engraved. Backed in burgundy velvet, the frame measures 7.25" high x 5" wide. Site size (window opening) is 4.75" X 3.25". In excellent condition, it is marked STERLING in the lower left corner.

On handle is low-relief depiction of Old King Cole, who has "called for his pipe and called for his bowl." A dense olden-days scene with no room for the "fiddlers three." A fine and vintage pair of sterling silver three-footed open salt dishes with cobalt glass liners. These 1-1/8" tall and 2" across salt dips are stamped STERLING /183 and they weigh 47.4 grams (silver only). This pair of table serving pieces is is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of roughness (a couple of fleabites) on the hidden outer edge of one of the hand-ground liners...

Tiffin made Twilight for many, many years. It does change color -- icey blue in fluorescent lighting, pastel lavendar in sunlight or incandescent (the old light bulbs). This compote is made from Duncan & Miller's Canterbury mold. Made in the 1960-70's. It is in mint condition and stands 5.25" tall and about 7" at its widest. We think that Jefferson Glass made these pancake french opalescent coin dot lamps in the 1930's. Previously thought they were made by Fenton, but Fenton's chimney is shaped like a pulled tulip -- not the bulbous shape seen here. This one has a rim-chip on the bottom of its chimney, hidden when sitting on its socket. It is 11" tall and about 8" wide at the base. Original wiring (2-prong plug).
