German Rudolstadt porcelain Potpourri Jar with inner top with holes under the top cover, 7 1/4" high, 5 1/2" wide, made by "New York & Rudolstadt Pottery" before 1920 with large pink and baby blue transfer floral design highlighted in brilliant gold on semi dull finish glaze, gold finish is worn on the round knob, and swirling wave pattern on the body. Glaze hairline across the top cover but did not go down all the way.

This large basket is quite the find. It has an over-sized twist handle of crystal clear glass. The rim is surrounded by gradated colors - almost like a stain of cranberry red. The body is heavy (4 lbs.) and is clear the shines yellow-green under black light. The bottom shows a finished pontil. All-in-all this lovely glass basket stands ( 1/2" tall to the top of the handle and 10" long. It is in excellent condition. I have other interesting and elegant glassware in my inventory .....

The Cube, or Cubist, pattern was made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1929 to 1933. It's often confused with Fostoria's American pattern and for good reason: both were designed by the same man. Radiance is a very elegant Depression era pattern that was produced by New Martinsville Glass Company from 1936 to 1939.
