Shino tea bowl with abstract gourd and ivy design by the representative modern Shino master Yano Keisen (1870-1965).
Suitable for Autumn tea ceremony, finely painted ivy gives a beautiful sentiments and the gourds adds warmness onto this Shino bowl.
Fine condition with no chip, no cracks, expected kiln-cracks(kamakizu) are presented as a character of Shino-ware.

A beautiful, Murano glass 'Mezza Filigrana' vase, made by Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso. The very heavy glass vase is 11 1/2 inches (29 cm) tall and 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) wide. Good condition, without chips, cracks or repairs (a few bubbles in glass, and age-appropriate base wear, as expected). Unsigned, as expected (a similar vase was sold by Midwest Auction Company on December 1, 2012).
