Wonderful folk art box of a pyramid that opens to reveal sections to hold cigarettes and matches.
The entire surface is inlaid with square or rectangular pieces of wood in varying shades of brown and beige.
It measures 5 1/2" high and is 9 3/8" square, sitting on 4 geometric feet.
Surface appears to have a light varnish coating.
The form is a copy of the pyramid at Chichen Itza in the Yucatan Peninsula...

This is a really nice, vintage, green Criss Cross, aka Crisscross, 8 1/4 inch X 8 1/4 inch square refrigerator or left over dish with lid made by Hazel Atlas Glass. This refrigerator dish measures 3 3/4 inches high with the lid on. Both the bottom and lid are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. A beautiful Murano glass handkerchief vase, made probably by Barovier & Toso (designer: Ercole Barovier) around 1950. The vase is made up of poly-chrome fused canes on a colorless ground glass. The vase is 4 3/4 inches (12 cm) wide and 3 3/4 inches (9,5 cm) tall. Fine condition. Polished pontil. Unsigned.
