A beautiful, Murano glass 'Mezza Filigrana' vase, made by Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso. The very heavy glass vase is 11 1/2 inches (29 cm) tall and 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) wide. Good condition, without chips, cracks or repairs (a few bubbles in glass, and age-appropriate base wear, as expected). Unsigned, as expected (a similar vase was sold by Midwest Auction Company on December 1, 2012).

The piece has 2 notches cut into it to place a cigaret. Also, on the bottom it looks like it was signed. Hard to tell, but please see last photo! For accuracy it has 1 scratch on the rim and about 3 small fleabites (1 on the rim, and 2 on the notches)...
Measuring just 4.25 inches long when assembled, this small souvenir item commemorates the Ausable Chasm in the Adirondack Mountains in New York State. A tiny leather case embossed with the chasm name and its location houses a small clothing brush constructed of natural bristles with silver-plated grip. Unmarked--in very fine condition! This is a really nice crystal clear, vintage, Iris and Herringbone round Butter Dish with Lid made by Jeannette Glass into the 1930s. The bottom measures 5 5/8 inches diameter. The butter dish together measures 4 1/2 inches high to top of knob. Both the butter bottom and lid are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Wonderful folk art box of a pyramid that opens to reveal sections to hold cigarettes and matches.
The entire surface is inlaid with square or rectangular pieces of wood in varying shades of brown and beige.
It measures 5 1/2" high and is 9 3/8" square, sitting on 4 geometric feet.
Surface appears to have a light varnish coating.
The form is a copy of the pyramid at Chichen Itza in the Yucatan Peninsula...
