Charming stylized donkey in the "colorization without fusion" technique by Ercole Barovier. On a recent visit to Murano, I showed a photo of this donkey to Lino Toso, director of the Barovier Toso Museum, and he said he could confirm 80% that this is the work of Ercole. The donkey measures 5.25"h x 2.25"w x 3.25"d, in good condition, unmarked.

Fine quality carafe with matching glass or tumbler which fits over top of carafe, both in blue and white swirled designs on clear glass, polished lip and bases, signature, mid century era. The blue is cobalt, it appears to have a turquoise hue in some of the photos. Measures 7 1/2" high with glass on top, carafe alone is 6 1/2" high and roughly 4 1/2" wide, the glass is 3 7/8" high and 2 3/4" wide. The swirl design is very precise, the sign of fine quality glass, and it is heavy as well...

Beautiful Gorham arts & crafts period (c. 1905) sterling and enamel spoon, measuring 5" long. It has blue, purple, red, and yellow enamel in a lovely arts & crafts design with a gold washed finish. The condition is very good with a slight enamel outage at the very top of the spoon (see photo). The spoon is marked "GORHAM hallmarks STERLING #870 and an "S" monogram at the back. Blackamoor figure in billowing pleated harem pants in red glass with heavy gold leaf holds a water jug of the same red glass/gold leaf combination in one hand, the other arm is held outstretched. Pants are accented by opalescent blue pointed shoes with gold leaf, and a striped sash of the same opalescent blue and lattimo...

Circa 1930's. These whiskey tumblers were made by the Hocking Glass company. They are 2 1/4 inches tall.

George V covered urn. Made by Lionel Alfred Crichton in London in 1930. Girdled urn on stepped, raised, and gadrooned foot; s-scroll side handles with leaf cap and pendant flower heads. Cover domed with gadrooned rim and finial. Cutout strapwork applied to bowl and cover. Traditional Classical form in Britannia (that is, 958) silver. Fully marked. Very good condition.

Handwrought bowl featuring three applied half domes surrounded by an incised and oxidized pattern near the rim. Dimensions: a large 10 inches diameter by 4 inches tall. Marked as illustrated in photo. Weight just shy of 17 ozs. In excellent condition.

This is a really pretty depression glass pink Tearoom, aka Tea Room, 3 3/4 inch high footed Creamer and Sugar Bowl set made by Indiana Glass from 1926 to 1931. Unusual small 7 ½ inch diameter Paipoint cut glass plate with sterling silver reticulated rim. The plate is cut with Pairpoint’s pattern No 0137. as shown in “The Pairpoint Glass Knowledge Center” website. The silver rim is marked “Sterling, 5591" along with the maker’s mark of the silversmith. The plate is quite heavy for its’ size. In excellent condition.

This silver overlay vase was produced in Germany by Friedrich Spar & Company around 1930. Except for a number 21 in red it is not signed but we are certain of its origin. The vase measures 7 inches in diameter. The art deco design is Asian inspired with pink flowers and branches spreading around the porcelain. The ground color is medium blue which contrasts so beautifully with the pink blossoms. The silver work is elaborate. Condition: Excellent

This beautiful comport and liner plate was made by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the piece was produced in the late 1920's. The pattern is called 'Iris', though it looks like wild roses to me.... The comport or mayo bowl is approximately 5 1/2 inches in diameter, the under plate is 7 inches in diameter. The color on both is a green ceramic wash over crystal. Perfect condition. See my other listings for more Consolidated Glass.

These "Liberty Blue" bread and butter plates are 5 7/8" in diameter. They have a blue and white floral rim with a scene of Monticello in the center. They are in excellent condition.

Set of eight(8) English Crescent Porcelain Bouillon Soup Cups and Saucers(2 extra saucers), cups-2 1/8" high, 3 7/8" diameter- top of the rim, and saucer-7/8" high, 5 3/8" diameter, with hand painted enamel floral design over the transfer pink floral wreath decoration with gold accent on the rim. Produced and retailed by "Cuman Collamore Co. Fifth Avenue & 30th St. New York" before 1930's, marked in pink and impressed numbers on the bottom. No damages or restoration.

The sophisticated designer arrangement of murrine in this paperweight is notable. The leaf murrine can be found in other Toso paperweights. The green center of the flower murrine is nicely tied in to the leaf motif. The murrine are cased in crystal and this lattice type layer of murrine gives the weight a nice airy quality. Measuring 3.75 dia. x 2.75"h., the paperweight is in excellent condition, unmarked.

Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the 3 1/2 inch tumbler in frosted crystal - sometimes called 'crystal stain'. Perfect condition, I have other items in this pattern available - email for details.

This porcelain miniature tureen was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1905 and 1938. It measures 5 1/4 inches across the handles and is 3 3/4 inches high. It is made of fine, hard paste porcelain. The piece is decorated with little hand painted insects and life-like fruits and vegetables. The finial on the lid is a half a lemon. Condition: Excellent

Sterling salt dish pair with serving spoon, monogrammed with W. The plain bowl sits atop circular foot with egg and dart decoration. Marked RLB, 1104, Sterling on bottom. The Cape Cod pattern was produced by Imperial Glass Company from 1932 through 1984 when they closed. Not all pieces were made throughout those years, but the long production period is testimony to its lasting popularity. Offered here is the #140 comport & lid in crystal that dates to the 1940's - 50's. The comport stands 10 inches high to the top of the knob handle and is 6 1/4 inches wide. Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1154 sweet pea vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - done in a rare color treatment. The vase is crystal with honey yellow ceramic wash at the top edge. This treatment is often referred to as 'rainbow' due to the bands of color...
