This fabulous Morgantown Adonis wine goblet with its green Athena stem is in excellent, unused condition and is quite hard to find. This beauty shows a Grecian flowers medallion with the stylized face of Adonis in its center. This elaborate medaliion repeats three times around the panel optic bowl. This pretty ultramarine Swirl 2 3/4 inch high Three-Leg Open Candy Dish was made by Jeannette Glass from 1937 to 1938. This Candy Dish measures 5 3/4 inches in diameter at the top. Circa 1930's. These whiskey tumblers were made by the Hocking Glass company. They are 2 1/4 inches tall.
The Florentine pattern was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass Company from 1932 to 1935. It was made with scalloped edges or straight edges. Although Hazel Atlas didn't distinguish one from the other, collectors today call the scalloped edge 'Florentine 1' and the straight edge style 'Florentine 2'. Offered here is the footed comport in pink in Florentine 2 - straight edge. Excellent condition, see my other listings for more in this pattern.
A fine and vintage Scandinavian sterling silver pair of fish servers mady by the Finnish firm of Miettinen + Nurmi (1947-60). This pair has the date stamp for 1959 and 813H and the maker's mark. The 6-3/8" long fork comes with the matching 7-1/4" long fish knife. Unusually, both the blade and handle are also .813 silver, and this set has never been monogrammed...

Each of the figures is different but bears a distinctly nautical theme. The first male figure reclines on a chair of waves and cat tails and holds a trident; the adjacent female figures ride various sea-beasts while one holds a downward-pointing spear...
Charming stylized donkey in the "colorization without fusion" technique by Ercole Barovier. On a recent visit to Murano, I showed a photo of this donkey to Lino Toso, director of the Barovier Toso Museum, and he said he could confirm 80% that this is the work of Ercole. The donkey measures 5.25"h x 2.25"w x 3.25"d, in good condition, unmarked.
