This porcelain box was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1905 and 1938. It measures 4 inches long, 3 1/4 inches wide and 2 inches deep. The box is decorated with bright hand painted fruits and flowers. There are tiny flower buds, nuts and bugs dotting the corners. The box has four little feet. It is trimmed with gold on the rims.

This wonderful vintage piece is handmade by Morgantown Glass. The wine bowl is surrounded by medallions of dancing nudes and flaming torches. It sits on the Ballerina stem (#7630) of pulled glass that is attached to the broad, clear foot. This stem stands 6" tall and is in excellent, undamaged condition. These 3 porcelain figurines were produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in the late 1940s. They are about 4 inches tall. They are made of hard paste porcelain that has a slight cream tinge. The cherubs are standing on gilded balls. They are well modeled with fine detail with a strong art deco influence. Each one is playing a musical instrument. They are a jolly little trio.

This charming covered jar in translucent yellow glass is topped with an opaque green fruit with stem. Made in the 1890s by Salviati. The body of the jar and lid are ribbed and have a lovely iridescence. The bottom of the base has multi-point pontil marks. It stands 6" high and 4" wide. A similar fruit-topped lid is shown in Carol Osbourne's "Venetian Glass of the 1890s: Salviati at Stanford University" P. 126, Plate 137.

A fascinating manipulation of fired on patination to the copper or bronze, shouldered vase. A rich, earthy copper red fired on patina is on the interior and on the exterior serving as background to irregular streams, inlets and pools of dappled verdigris among, and picked out by, (seemingly) flames of speckled gold fading into the background color. We included one picture with filtered sunlight to better pick out the colors...

A very elegant Art Deco cranberry-cut-to-clear crystal cocktail shaker. The glass is very clear and quite heavy. The style of cutting suggests Val Saint-Lambert as the most likely maker. The shaker is finished with a silverplate strainer and cap.

A vintage mid century modernist pair of salad servers in sterling silver and exotic wood by William Spratling. One is an open slotted spoon/fork and the other is a large serving spoon.
They each measure 12 1/4" long and 2 1/4" across the bowls. Marked with the conjoined 'WS', Taxco and 925. These were the marks used between 1933-40, the first design period.
