This is a porcelain figurine made in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1950s. The height is 11 1/8 inches, the width is 7 inches and it is 4 inches deep. The model number 1567 is impressed in the base. There are artist's initials impressed in the base. The piece depicts a family of koalas clinging to a tree limb. They are bright eyed and quite adorable. They are hand painted in life-like colors. This 10 piece porcelain game bird set was produced in France by Lazeyras, Rosenfeld & Lehman in the 1920s. Not all the plates are pictured, but the set includes 9 plates and the platter. It is a factory decorated set with under glaze and over glaze marks and a factory artist’s signature. The platter measures 19 inches long, 12 1/2 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches deep. This is a truly elegant shaped TOBO vase by Erich and Ingrid Triller. It measures 6 3/8" (16cm) tall. On the underside is painted Tobo Triller. The unusual glaze is a yellow ochre, and one of the finest examples of the Triller's artistry. Mint condition.

I visited the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington DC a little more than a year ago and saw some really creative ceramics with leather incorporated into the composition among related, sculptural works. It did make a spontaneous and lasting impression that led me to recognize and purchase a wonderful and unusual work by the same hand found in an antiques and collectibles market.

This silver overlay vase was produced in Germany by Friedrich Spar & Company around 1930. Except for a number 21 in red it is not signed but we are certain of its origin. The vase measures 7 inches in diameter. The art deco design is Asian inspired with pink flowers and branches spreading around the porcelain. The ground color is medium blue which contrasts so beautifully with the pink blossoms. The silver work is elaborate. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the late 1950s. It has the name of the artist, F. Heidenreich, impressed in the base. The group measures 5 1/2 inches high, 7 1/2 inches long and 6 inches deep. It is a depiction of a pair of frisky Borzoi dogs. The dogs are modeled delicately, with fine detail. Their faces are beautiful. There are many slender limbs, so it must have been difficult to keep the porcelain from failing as it was being made...

This porcelain vase with bronze mounts was produced in France at Sevres in 1921. It is double marked and is authentic. It has an artist’s signature, O. Mancelin. The vase is 4 1/4 inches tall. It has a diameter of 4 inches. The porcelain is fitted with bronze on the mouth and foot. It has a unique, bulbous shape, almost like a gourd. The decoration on the deep cobalt blue ground is a pattern of raised white French enamel with gilded accents. They are stylized with a flower-like form...

Circa 1920sEichwald majolica centerpiece with a lion head on the base. Large and colorful, this blue bowl with a golden yellow interior is relief decorated on the exterior with small raspberry red flowers, light green tendrils, and paisley shaped pink medallions. Other colors are lavender, and golden brown. A fabulous statement piece. Marked" Eichwald" and "Czechoslovakia", it measures 15" high, 12ʺ long × 8.25ʺ wide.

This is a rare antique porcelain figurine glazed all over in white depicting a courtship couple sitting on a large rock with a young sheep at their feet. This figurine was made by the Ernst Bohne Sohne Rudolstadt Volkstedt plant in Germany in the mid to late 19th century. At the back of the figurine near the base is a blue 5 prong crown with the letter "N" written in under-glaze blue...

A finely sculpted bust of a young man with exceptional patina of finely blended earth and bronze pigments. Physical condition is superb, but a small amount of finish has worn around the left eye and on the top of the head exposing a green substrate, yet harmonious with the earthen finish. Signed on the back of the neck. We have been unable to decipher the signature; yet the work speaks well for the unidentified artist. Dimension: 13" h

This porcelain figural group was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in the 1940s. It has an inscribed artist's signature, C. Werner, in the base. The figurine measures 11 1/4 inches high and 9 1/4 wide. It is beautifully modeled with fine details. The young, beautiful mother is assisting her infant to take his first steps. It has a classical elegance and yet a modern 1940s stylized look. The figures are realistically hand painted. Condition: Excellent.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1933. The date codes indicate this year. It is signed by the artist E. Barker. The plate measures 10 ¾” in diameter. A brilliant array of hand painted flowers in an urn fill the center of the plate. They are realistically portrayed in fine detail. The rim of the plate is finished with an embossed band of gold. It’s like an English country garden on a plate. Condition: Excellent

Original hand thrown and hand enameled vase by Gilbert Portanier (France, born 1926). This vase measures roughly 7", with a diameter at the base of 5". It is signed with Portanier's distinctive monogram near the base. In excellent condition except for a glaze chip near the mouth of the vase. Portanier is one of the most important ceramic artists in the second half of the twentieth century in France.

Mid Century sterling silver teething ring with a large amber bead that moves. Marked on the inside "STERLING", it is in excellent condition. At its widest point, the silver teething ring measures 3.5" (8.9 cm). The very large natural amber bead measures 1.5" (3.8 cm) wide and 1" (2.5 cm) high. This extraordinary and sensuous ceramic sculpture depicts a muscular young man embracing an exaggerated grape cluster. "Drunken Young Man", by Kai Nielsen for Bing & Gröndahl in Copenhagen. This sculpture was one of a series known as "Vinhosten" issued in 1912. Absolutely stunning and in mint condition. It measures 4½" (10.5cm). The peacock measures 15 inches long and 7 1/2 inches high. The modeling is well done, with excellent detail. The figurine is hand painted in natural colors. His pose displays his regal splendor. Hand painted vase made by the Alexandra Porcelain Works, Ernest Wahliss in Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia, c. 1911-1912. This vase depicts a maiden walking with her ducks in a country setting on one side while the other side continues with the country scene.
