This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory or KPM in 1925. The date letter indicates this year. The plate has a diameter of 9 ¾”. It has a finely reticulated border, all outlined with gold. The center of the plate is hand painted with a scene of the 13th century fortress at Godesberg, Germany. It is painted in monochrome shades of red rust color. There is a garland of roses encircling the border with gold leaves and stems...

Original hand thrown and hand enameled vase by Gilbert Portanier (France, born 1926). This vase measures roughly 7", with a diameter at the base of 5". It is signed with Portanier's distinctive monogram near the base. In excellent condition except for a glaze chip near the mouth of the vase. Portanier is one of the most important ceramic artists in the second half of the twentieth century in France.

This unique drawing is by Wilhelm KÅGE for his celebrated series of Argenta objects produced by Gustavsberg. It is dated October 1954. This particular mermaid has been featured on diverse argenta pieces. Excellent condition.

Mid Century sterling silver teething ring with a large amber bead that moves. Marked on the inside "STERLING", it is in excellent condition. At its widest point, the silver teething ring measures 3.5" (8.9 cm). The very large natural amber bead measures 1.5" (3.8 cm) wide and 1" (2.5 cm) high. A child's name is hand engraved on one side and can be easily buffed out by your jeweler. We will polish before shipping if requested.

This extraordinary and sensuous ceramic sculpture depicts a muscular young man embracing an exaggerated grape cluster. "Drunken Young Man", by Kai Nielsen for Bing & Gröndahl in Copenhagen. This sculpture was one of a series known as "Vinhosten" issued in 1912. Absolutely stunning and in mint condition. It measures 4½" (10.5cm). On the underside is incised KAI NIELSEN, 12, impressed is KOBENHAVN, B & G, the insignia of three houses. Impressed is 4024, 51C. Painted in black is Ø.775.

The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches.The cup is 2 1/4 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/4 inches. The cup features a pedestal base and unique handle. This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Bing & Grondahl between 1948 and 1951. The base is impressed with the signature of the renowned artist, Dahl Jensen. It has a model number, 1628. The peacock measures 15 inches long and 7 1/2 inches high. The modeling is well done, with excellent detail. The figurine is hand painted in natural colors. His pose displays his regal splendor. Condition: Excellent, first quality.

Hand painted vase made by the Alexandra Porcelain Works, Ernest Wahliss in Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia, c. 1911-1912. This vase depicts a maiden walking with her ducks in a country setting on one side while the other side continues with the country scene. This set of 8 porcelain tea cups, saucers and dessert plates was produced in Germany at the renowned Nymphenburg factory. They are dated from 1958 through 1978. Most of the pieces have the dates on the bottom. The plates measure 7 inches in diameter, the saucers are 5 inches in diameter and the cups are 2 inches high.
