A very cheerful and colorful ceramic paneled vase decorated in the Merrie England motif by Newhall Pottery in England, dating to around 1930. The scenery depicts a castle with beefeater guards from Tudor England. The vivid, warm earth tones make you want to go outside for sunshine.

Salad-size stoneware bowl from the Danish Hjorth factory, c 1920 to 30. Light grey glaze and Art Deco stylized floral decoration in blue to the exterior, the interior with a central ornament in blue, yellow and brown. Height "4½/ 11 cm, diameter "7½/ 19,5 cm. Impressed marks: L.Hjorth, deer mark, Denmark and Z 50 (model number?). Condition: wear to rim and some glaze blisters.

This is one of a set of three French majolica plates, 20th century, two marked "P-V" and "France", the other incised "Made in France", all stamped "26947", molded in relief with grapes and grapevines in a central reserve; good coloration; Overall condition very good, one has small chip on rim base, no cracks or paint flakes; 8" diam.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1933. The date codes indicate this year. It is signed by the artist E. Barker. The plate measures 10 ¾” in diameter. A brilliant array of hand painted flowers in an urn fill the center of the plate. They are realistically portrayed in fine detail. The rim of the plate is finished with an embossed band of gold. It’s like an English country garden on a plate. Condition: Excellent

Modelled in the Roseville traditional Nouveau-Déco transitional style, glazed in matte green, white and yellow with a design of relief modelled Cosmos flowers, c 1940. Marked Roseville U S A 1151-2. A Bursley ware tazza by Charlotte Rhead in the Carnations pattern, enhanced with gold against a mottled crackle glaze ground. Probably 1940’s, with factory mark and pattern code T.L.40. Diameter (handles not included) "7 ½/ 19,5 cm, height "2 ½/ 6,5 cm. Condition: fine.

The entire front surface of the plate is decorated. They have elaborate gold borders with cartouches containing urns. The centers are hand painted with scenes of Italian landscapes and water views. They were painted by the renowned artist, P. Curnock. He used color beautifully in the skies and mountains...

Six(6) English Copeland Spode Stoneware Demitasse Cups and Saucers, Pheasant design in solid green color wide band, 2 1/4" high, 2 1/4" diameter-top rim, with Butterflies and Dragon Flies decorated inside the cup, and low relief floral Branch design in solid green color outside the cup, saucer is decorated with wide green band with Pheasant. Marked "Copeland, Spode" in brown, and impressed mark with hand written number in red on the bottom. The condition is good, no damages.

A Maling Peony 6504A large 10-7/8" centerpiece bowl from the 1930s. Japanese Nippon Porcelain Potpourri Jar and top and inner cover, 1940's, 4 1/2" high, 4 3/4" widest, 2 3/8" diameter top cover, with six(6) open reticulated coin shape openings, various floral and birds design on yellow background. The condition is good.

This silver overlay vase was produced in Germany by Friedrich Spar & Company around 1930. Except for a number 21 in red it is not signed but we are certain of its origin. The vase measures 7 inches in diameter. The art deco design is Asian inspired with pink flowers and branches spreading around the porcelain. The ground color is medium blue which contrasts so beautifully with the pink blossoms. The silver work is elaborate. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Fraureuth in 1935. The piece is artist signed but we are unable to identify the signature. It is 7 inches long and 5 3/4 inches high. The dachshund is well modeled with nice breed detail. He is hand painted in natural colors. Condition: Excellent. On the underside of the figurine something was ground off, as shown in the last photo.
