This is one of the finest examples of Berndt Friberg's ceramic mastery that I have acquired since dealing from 1984. It has never been in a shop or auction, but has an important provenance and was procured directly from Friberg. It is without any flaws, which is extremely rare for a piece of this size. Magnificent in every way. It measures 15 3/4" and is 3 3/4' in diameter. Museum quality for the advanced collector.

This extraordinary vessel is a prime example of Wilhelm Kåge's celebrated Farsta series for Gustavsberg, Sweden. This piece measures 10 1/2" tall and is 4 7/8" in diameter. On the underside is incised Kåge, Gustavsberg, the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia, and the date code Z. This magnificent vessel was created in 1955. Mint condition.

This is a truly exceptional example of the artistry of Berndt Friberg. This very large vase measures 15 1/4" (39cm) and is 3 1/2" (9cm) in diameter. On the underside is incised Friberg with the Gustavsberg Studio Hand insignia. The date code c signifies this vase was created in 1961. The blue/brown haresfur glaze is perfection.

This important and fantastic example of Farsta pieces designed by Wilhelm Kåge for Gustavsberg measures 8 5/8" (22cm). On the underside of the base is incised KÅGE, and I.9. Impressed is Gustavsberg, the Studio hand insignia, and Farsta (five times). This extraordinary piece, a supreme example of Kåge's inventiveness, was created in 1959. Mint condition.

A superb and important example of Wilhelm Kage's Farsta series. This vase measures 8 1/4" high and 6 1/2" wide. The glaze is in browns and tans and the decorations is of incised squares, rectangles and vertical lines; it is truly a work of art. On the underside is incised Farsta nine times, Kage, the Gustavsberg hand, Studio, and the letter Y, which dates this piece to 1954. Condition is mint. Museum quality.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by the Schwarzburger Werkstatten or Schwarzburg Workshops in the 1920s. The base has the impressed initials AST which stand for the artist Albert Storch. The factory was founded by Max Aldolf Pfeiffer in 1908 and he was the director until 1913 at which time he became the artistic director at Meissen. The highest standards of artistic accomplishment is evident. The macaw is 15 1/2 inches high, 12 inches wide and 7 inches deep...

A majestic pair of French Old Paris Porcelain Bisque Figurines 1840s After Fragonard. Each figure measuring about 17” in height and bases, which are removable, or 7 inch diameter. These 6 porcelain plates were produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1958. The markings on the back indicate this year of manufacture. The plates have a diameter of 10 3/4 inches. They are made of fine bone china. Each plate is hand painted with a different spray of flowers and are signed by the artist Freeman. The flowers are vibrantly, and realistically rendered. The flowers account for an area of 3 1/2 inches in diameter...

This ceramic wall plaque was produced in France at the Manufacture Nationale de Sevres in 1928. The artist is Adrian August Leduc. His painted signature is on the back of the plaque as well as an impressed mark. It measures 11 ¼ inches in diameter and is 1 ½ inches deep. The design is abstract and high relief. There are rows of white circles with gray accents. There is wonderful texture to the surface...

This rare and early example of the superb pottery of Ingrid and Erich Triller (TOBO) measures 9 3/4" tall and is 4 1/5" in diameter. On the underside of the foot is painted Triller Tobo. The incredible glaze is a complex of browns and oranges. Excellent condition. There is a very minor glaze eruption (done in manufacture) on the inside of the upper rim, which does not detract at all from the beauty and importance of this great vase. (See photos).

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Royal Doulton in 1938. They measure 10 1/2 inches in diameter. They are made of fine bone china that is ivory in color. The entire front surface of the plate is decorated. They have elaborate gold borders with cartouches containing urns. The centers are hand painted with scenes of Italian landscapes and water views. They were painted by the renowned artist, P. Curnock. He used color beautifully in the skies and mountains...

This porcelain and silver tea set was produced in Trenton New Jersey, USA, by Lenox between 1906 and 1930. Some of the pieces are marked with the older Lenox Belleek mark. The pot measures 9 inches from the spout to the handle and is 6 inches tall, including the lid. The pot includes a separate tea strainer which inter locks with the lid. The capacity is 30 ounces. The sugar bowl is 5 inches across the handles and 4 inches tall...

The height of the Urn is 12 inches, from early 20th century era and in perfect condition.

Very large vase by Pierre Greber, dating from around 1950 when he produced his famous "bronzed ceramics", with a metallic glaze on a black background. This vase in excellent condition measures approximately 11 1/2" high and is signed with the incised "Greber" signature Pierre borrowed from his uncle Charles. We currently have two pieces of this type by Pierre Greber, with gold iridescent glazes over black (the inside glazes vary from light blue-green to blue)...

This very large Faience vase designed by Stig Lindberg measures 15 1/4" (39cm) tall. On the underside is impressed Hand Drejad (hand thrown) and the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia. Painted in blue is Sweden, the number 121-T-621, and the Gustavsberg hand insignia. The artist who painted this piece is Franca Pugno, whose symbol of an x in a box is painted in red. This piece is featured on page 6 of the Faience brochure published by Gustavsberg. Mint condition.

This footed bowl is from Gunnar Nylund's early years with Bing and Gröndahl. It was created between 1926 and 1928. It measures 4¼" (11cm) high and is 4½" (11.5cm) in diameter. The bowl is on four feet. The glaze is extraordinary and designed to resemble flames surrounding a cauldron. Mint condition. SHIPPING INCLUDED WITHIN US.

This Art Deco charger, c 1939, is from Kupittaan pottery in Finland. The decoration, a male nude combined with a border of laurel leaves, suggests a Olympics venue. The 1940 Olympic Games, originally scheduled for Japan, was rescheduled for Helsinki, Finland. Those games were postponed because of the Soviet invasion of Finland in 1939. This charger probably was created in anticipation of the Helsinki games. It measures 14" in diameter, and is in mint condition. A very rare object.

This piece was sold by the retailer “Carbone” of Boston, who handled European imports from about 1910 to 1920. It measures 16 inches high, 9 1/2 inches wide, and 8 inches deep.
