An Italian Majolica flower pot by Cantagalli, c 1930. Flower pot and saucer in one, three pierced holes for draining excessive water from the pot. Decoration of a modelled zigzag band in yellow and two stylized flower sprigs in green, mauve and yellow. Marked with the singing cockerel of Cantagalli, "Italy" and a star. Height "3½/ 8,5 cm. Condition: fine.

A 4-7/8" tall trumpet-shaped English art pottery vase by Ault. This vase has the stylized mark used by Ault from 1923-37; the colour is a light green with fine lustre hues. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some allover crazing. A very cheerful and colorful ceramic paneled vase decorated in the Merrie England motif by Newhall Pottery in England, dating to around 1930. The scenery depicts a castle with beefeater guards from Tudor England. The vivid, warm earth tones make you want to go outside for sunshine.

This is a Porcelain Vase, a works of art/decorative d'art object from China Late Republic Era, there is a kangxi mark on its' base which i erred as a copy mark, it is hand painted and fired by wood fired kiln, of Famille verte type, it is made in circa 1930s as copy then, it has been in my collection for 8 years now, please ask for more photos and the price....thank you for looking

Salad-size stoneware bowl from the Danish Hjorth factory, c 1920 to 30. Light grey glaze and Art Deco stylized floral decoration in blue to the exterior, the interior with a central ornament in blue, yellow and brown. Height "4½/ 11 cm, diameter "7½/ 19,5 cm. Impressed marks: L.Hjorth, deer mark, Denmark and Z 50 (model number?). Condition: wear to rim and some glaze blisters.

This is one of a set of three French majolica plates, 20th century, two marked "P-V" and "France", the other incised "Made in France", all stamped "26947", molded in relief with grapes and grapevines in a central reserve; good coloration; Overall condition very good, one has small chip on rim base, no cracks or paint flakes; 8" diam.

Roseville 8" Lily Vase, produced in 1937 is in mint condition. If more photos needed, please ask.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1933. The date codes indicate this year. It is signed by the artist E. Barker. The plate measures 10 ¾” in diameter. A brilliant array of hand painted flowers in an urn fill the center of the plate. They are realistically portrayed in fine detail. The rim of the plate is finished with an embossed band of gold. It’s like an English country garden on a plate. Condition: Excellent

Faience pitcher by Aegitna in Vallauris, France. Aegitna or Saltamacchia was one of the first ceramic workshops established in the village of Vallauris near Cannes and the Mediterranean. Vallauris was to become the most famous center in postwar Europe for the renewal of ceramic art, and many modernist ceramists like Picasso settled there to work...

Roseville pair of candle holders. Modelled in the Roseville traditional Nouveau-Déco transitional style, glazed in matte green, white and yellow with a design of relief modelled Cosmos flowers, c 1940. Marked Roseville U S A 1151-2. Height 2"/5,5 cm, diameter 3 ¾"/9,5 cm. Condition: a few restored chips to exterior of upper rim of one candle holder (cf. pics) otherwise fine.

Green Glazed Majolica Faience Plate, 9" diameter, 1 1/8" high, impressed mark "39" on the bottom, one(1) small chip chip with glaze hairline on the bottom rim area.

 

A Bursley ware tazza by Charlotte Rhead in the Carnations pattern, enhanced with gold against a mottled crackle glaze ground. Probably 1940’s, with factory mark and pattern code T.L.40. Diameter (handles not included) "7 ½/ 19,5 cm, height "2 ½/ 6,5 cm. Condition: fine.

A White Ceramic Inkwell with Brass Mounting

Olive green, pink, black, and light green floral Majolica curved candy or serving dish signed "GERMANY IMPERIAL crown" and is in excellent condition. There are other marks and probably another word after IMPERIAL. It measures 8" in diameter and has a decorative scalloped edge.....$8 for insured USA shipping plus applicable NY sales tax.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1924 to 1934. It has the crossed swords mark from the Pfeiffer period that is first quality. The saucer measures 4 1/8 inches in diameter and 1 inch deep. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. The set is decorated in the Japanese Kakiemon style. Whimsical, stylized yellow tigers wind themselves around bamboo...

This rare and early example of the superb pottery of Ingrid and Erich Triller (TOBO) measures 9 3/4" tall and is 4 1/5" in diameter. On the underside of the foot is painted Triller Tobo. The incredible glaze is a complex of browns and oranges. Excellent condition. There is a very minor glaze eruption (done in manufacture) on the inside of the upper rim, which does not detract at all from the beauty and importance of this great vase. (See photos).
