A large, heavy, ten-sided (Korean style) black glazed stoneware vase made by Trevor Corser who was the longest servimg member of the Leach pottery, St Ives, Cornwall. This item bears the seal mark of Leach pottery and also Trevor Corser's personal seal. Condition: excellent - no damages and no restoration. 28cm (11 inches) high. 2.8 kg (6lb 3oz).

Black transferware on cream Wedgwood porcelain plates of jungle animals. The plates were made from hand engravings by the Wedgwood School of Engraving. The border was designed the wife of James Stevenson-Hamilton, the first warden of Kruger National Park. In excellent condition, they measure 10.75 inches in diameter.

An earthenware terracotta bottle vase and stopper. The vase is decorated with transfer printed "famille rose" enamels depicting flowers birds and marine life. This item was made by Watcombe pottery, Torquay, which was operational from 1869 to 1883. The base carries the impressed date mark for October 1878. These porcelain plates were produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1929. There is a date cipher which indicates this year. We have three plates pictured but you may purchase one or more of them. English Wedgwood Jasper Ware Pitcher, 4 3/4" high, 4 1/4" wide with twisted rope handle, dark blue with beautifully applied and executed low relief classical design on dark blue body and the grape vine on top border is higher relief than classical figures below, the detail is very delicate and finely done, impressed mark "Wedgwood" and "Made in England" on the bottom, some dark stain on the white figures. Pretty set of eight bone china coasters by Royal Worcester. Each has a hand painted transfer-printed floral bouquet design. The outer edges are ridged and the rims are gilt. In addition to their original purpose, the coasters could also be used for nut dishes or even butter pats.
