In 1950 LA joined the Arabia company, where she became a great experimenter and innovator of glazes before opening up a studio of her own in 1971. Signed LH Arabia. Generous redware teapot by Dybdahl, Denmark, 1960’s. The inside, the spout and handle, rim and lid with a smooth transparent glaze, the rest unglazed. Impressed, stamped decoration of little masks or stylized sun faces. In the studio of Palle and Margrethe Dybdahl Margrethe did the wheel throwing and the decorations and Palle the glazes. The teapot takes 1.2 litres and pours well. Width spout to handle "10 / 26 cm. Condition: some roughness around the spout.

Here is a truly exquisite vase by the masters Erich and Ingrid Triller. The glaze is an intense blue. On the underside is painted Tobo Triller. They are signed by the renowned modeler, Knud Kyhn. This rowdy pair of cubs are full of action playing. This artist was able to capture the moment in lively motion. They are hand painted in the typical Royal Copenhagen pallet of colors. Condition: Excellent first quality.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1950s. It has the artist’s signature, Fritz Heidenreich, impressed into the base. On the underside is incised Kåge, Gustavsberg, the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia, and the date code Z. This magnificent vessel was created in 1955. Mint condition.

Here is a classic Stig Lindberg design. It is number 39 out of 125 made in 1981. Measurements are 12" by 15 1/2". Excellent condition. One of the last works of the master. Signed Stig L and dated (19)81. This work of art is called "Cinderella".

This three cup candelabra (which may be turned upside down) measures 5" tall and is 7 1/8" in length. On the underside of one of the cups is painted Sweden 26III; on another the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia and the painter's mark of a star. The cups are hand painted in blue, yellow and red. This Art Deco charger, c 1939, is from Kupittaan pottery in Finland. The decoration, a male nude combined with a border of laurel leaves, suggests a Olympics venue. The 1940 Olympic Games, originally scheduled for Japan, was rescheduled for Helsinki, Finland. Those games were postponed because of the Soviet invasion of Finland in 1939. This charger probably was created in anticipation of the Helsinki games. It measures 14" in diameter, and is in mint condition. A very rare object.
