Teapot, milk jug, cup and saucer, a solitaire service made by the Carl Knoll factory in Czech Carlsbad / Karlovy Vary. Cross-striped like the Victorian bathing-suits – just a coincidence or might there be a thought behind this design? Carlsbad was a fashionable 19th century spa, famous for its hot springs. Impressed mark for 1848 – 1868. Height of teapot "4 ½ / 11 cm including handle, diameter of saucer "5 ½ / 14 cm. Condition: a nick to the cup (cf. pics).

English Bone China Hammersley & Co. Demitasse Cup, 1932-present, 2 1/4" wide include handle, 2 1/4" high, floral design, "Bone China, Hammersley & Co. Made in England" mark in green on the bottom. The condition is good.

Six(6) English Mintons Porcelain Gold Rim Fruit or Dessert Bowls, Ca. 1912-1950, 5 1/2" diameter, raised Gold rim border and creamy white Porcelain bowl, one bowl has invisible restoration under the top rim on very tiny chip. This price is for set of 5. "Mintons" mark under the Crown, "Ovington Brothers, Made in England" on the bottom.

This porcelain demitasse or mocha cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in 1929. The saucer measures 4 inches in diameter and the cup is 1 ½ inches high. The set has a bright marigold yellow ground. Heavy silver overlay in art deco style decorates both pieces. The design is linear and geometric at the same time. The size and shape are great for after dinner coffee. Condition: Excellent

Here is a truly exquisite vase by the masters Erich and Ingrid Triller. The glaze is an intense blue. On the underside is painted Tobo Triller. This stunning piece of stonweare art measures 8 1/2" (21cm) high and is 5" (12.5cm) in diameter. The vase is far more beautiful and intense than the pictures suggest.

This dynamic bear by Knud Kyhn for Royal Copenhagen has an incredible glaze. It measures 3 1/2" (8.25cm) tall and is 5" (13cm) in length. Mint condition. On the underside is painted three wavy lines and the artist's initials KK.

Late 1960s early 1970s ELC marked "Roke's Drift" red and blue glazed Zulu plate with a raku tupe glaze , the body seems to have some animal hair mixed in the clay body. Number 9 in a series of 12 Fornasetti plates commissioned in the 1970’s by Martini & Rossi. Each plate depicts an item in their wine museum in Pessione, in this case the first barrel – Il Primo Tino - used for the fabrication of the famous Martini vermouth. Pessione is a village in northern Italy, not far from Torino. The back of the plate gives a contextual presentation of the plate and has the Fornasetti brush in hand mark. Diameter "9 ¼ / 23.7 cm. Blowpipes have been used for hunting in some parts of the world, and in Western Flanders blowpipe with darts or arrows was a popular sport for about a hundred years, starting at the beginning of the 19th century. This unusual plate was made for a local Flemish blowpipe association around 1840-1850. A Revernay French art studio pottery vase probably from the 1920s. Made by Atelier Revernay of France (known 1896-1930s), this attractive 8 1/4" tall vase has molded drip highlights and a mottled blue and brown glaze. The blue has deep greenish under-tones. It is hand incised 23 and REVERNAY on the bottom of the vase and it has a MADE IN FRANCE over-glaze mark also...

Rare and impressive Art Deco ceramic vase by Edouard Cazaux (France, 1889, 1974), in a classic Cazaux baluster form decorated with abstracted foliate designs in his hallmark teal and silver crackle glazes over a white crackle enamel. Almost 13" high, approximately 10" across. Remnants of the classic Cazaux signature on the bottom (partially worn off). Circa 1930.

Large and impressive French Art Deco vase by Robert Lallemant (1902-1954), circa 1928-1930. Almost black iridescent glaze. Fully signed: "T.R.Lallemant" and inscribed "France". 14 3/4" tall. Robert Lallemant was an important French ceramicist of the period, as well as a furniture designer (he created furniture for the UAM--Union des Artistes Modernes) and all around designer and photographer.
