This piece is hand-cut, wheel-engraved, and stained in ruby colored crystal. The general feel of this piece is classic old-world Egermann, and it pays tribute to the established Bohemian Crystal design motifs, but it is nevertheless an original and in a very interesting and elegant hexafoil form...

From our European Collection, a large and beautiful Egermann Bohemian Crystal Vase, a one-of-a kind artist signed original by K.Varra. This piece is hand-cut, wheel-engraved, and stained in ruby colored crystal exhibiting the stag motif, which historically is a classic Egermann design for which the company is credited with being the very first to incorporate into crystal ware...

Offered is this pair of exceptional, cameo-etched Bohemian glass floor vases - the vases are monumental-sized (each vases is approximately 20 inches or 51 cm tall and 8 inches or 20 cm wide). The ruby-flashed vases are in excellent condition (there are a few fabrication flaws in the form of bubbles, typical of hand-made glass articles (see last picture). Unsigned - probably made by Moser. N.B...

Set of 4 Czechoslovakian crystal place card holders dating circa 1950s. Marked "Made in Czechoslovakia" on bottoms. In excellent condition, they measure 1.5 inches high. Also good for business cards. We have 12 more available, please inquire for special pricing if you want more.

A purple bowl of swirl shape in the style of Beranek – Skrdlovice – or Klinger – Zelezny Brod Sklo /ZBS. The Czech glassworks like many other industries were nationalised. This bowl originally must have been produced for the Skoda car factory since it bears the Skoda mark (in use from 1929). Length "5½/ 14 cm. Condition: wear to the base and a scratch mark near the base.

A beautiful 8-glass cordial set in a velvet box, made by Moser. The cordial heights vary between 2 inches to 3 1/4 inches (5 cm to 8,25 cm). The box is 12 inches by 8 1/2 inches by 2 3/4 inches (30 cm X 22 cm X 7 cm). Four of the glasses are in gold cameo. All glasses are marked, 'Moser' and are in fine condition. The set was probably in a museum's collection and carries the museum's ascension number (see last picture).

A selection of early to mid-century coloured glassware with gilt and hand painted enamels. All are in good condition, free from cracks or breaks with minor wear to the gilt and/or enamels. Descriptions and sizes are as follows:

Bohemian Cut Crystal tall Wine Glass, green to clear cut, 7 1/2" tall, 2 1/2" high and 2 3/4" diameter without stem, beautifully cut in details and faceted stem with more smaller cuts, and cuts on the bottom of the base, no damage.

Six small dessert or fruit bowls in the Splendid collection by Bohemian Moser, Karlsbad, Exquisitely diamond-cut and faceted, the border with a relief pattern in 24 carat gold. Designed in 1911, Splendid turned out to be a success in the international expositions of the time. It is still being produced and is part of royal and stately dining settings all over the world. Diameter "5 ¼ / 13 cm, height "1/ 2.7 cm. This set is probably from around 1950. Condition: three bowls with wear to the gilt.

Bohemian cut Crystal tall Wine Glass, cut from green to clear, 7 1/4" tall, 2 1/2" high and 3" diameter without stem, also cut faceted long stem and bottom, underneath the glass. Tiny area polished on the top rim, smooth edge, ready to use.

Bohemian Cut Crystal tall Wine Glass, dark amber color to clear, 8" tall, 3 1/2" high and 2 3/4" diameter without stem, with cut faceted stem, rough rim edge but don't show anything.

Two charming little elephants and a kangaroo, part of a miniature glass menagerie from the Bimini Werkstätte in Vienna (1923 – 1938). Lampworked, the insides covered by a shimmering mother-of-pearl-like mercury layer. Height "1 ½ - 1 ¾ / 3.5 - 5 cm. Condition: a few flakes to the interior (cf. pics).

A pretty Art Deco cut glass perfume bottle with an intaglio stopper. The periwinkle blue body is cut in a diamond pattern, while the flat round stopper has lapidary cut edges and an intaglio four-leaf clover. The overall effect is very sweet. The flat base is acid-etched “Made in Czechoslovakia” inside an elongated oval.

Origin: Czechoslovakia, ca. 1920. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks. Size: 3-3/4” tall.

Set of four Bohemian glasses, each hand painted with a different pair of dogs. We're not dog experts, but they appear to be Scotties, wolfhounds, spaniels and Dalmatians. The quality of the painting is very nice, as is the quality of the glass. The top and bottom edges are decorated with gilt lines. The polished bottoms are acid-etched "Made In Czechoslovakia".

Origin: Czechoslovakia, 1918-1935. Condition: excellent, slight wear to gilt edges. Size: 5-3/4" tall.

A tall amber-colored, signed art deco era decanter, made by Moser. Overall, the decanter is in good condition (the decanter has been examined under black-light: there are no cracks in the decanter) - there are some chips however (the biggest one shown in the last picture). The tall decanter is 20 1/2 inches (52 cm) tall and 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) wide at the bottom. It is signed on its bottom (also, a similar decanter is shown on page 141 of Baldwin's book, 'Moser Artistic Glass edition two').

A 10 inch tall Loetz cameo glass vase with a daisy design in dark topaz over a yellow background. The flattened bulbous vase is 5 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches deep. The vase is signed “C. A. Loetz’ with the “C. a.’ meaning “Compagnie anonyme” This signature was on cameo glass intended for export to the United States. The mark is shown as signature 108 on page 331 of ”Loetz Bohemian Glass 1880 - 1940" by Hatje Cantz.

This pair of glass candlesticks was produced in Europe. They are unmarked but we think that they are Bohemian, made in the 1920's. They are 8 3/4 inches high and the base has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches. The glass has a lead content and makes a ringing sound when tapped. They are hand blown and joined in four parts. They have pontils on the bottoms. The shape creates an elegant, sleek silhouette...
