Large Splatter glass vase for Hadeland (Norway) designed by Gro Bergslien. Vase is a combination of opalescent glass, splattered with blocks and networks of colors in yellow, rust, greens, and pinks, cased in clear glass. There are also embedded bubbles, adventurine, and mica spangles. The vase is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) tall and 7.75 inches (19.7 cm) in diameter. Marked on base Hadeland GroB in script. Fire polished pontil mark. No chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1970.

Two unique art glass bowls by Asa (Åsa) Brandt, Sweden. ÅB is said to have been the first glass artist in Europe to set up her own independent studio, in 1968. Controlled marbled or spatter glass design in white and blue, red and green. Both signed Åsa. Diameter "7 and 5 ¼ / 18 and 13 cm, height "2 ¾ and 2 ½ / 7 and 6.5 cm respectively. Condition: fine.

An art glass vase by Swedish designer, Kjell Englaman.There is a Kosta Boda label and the piece is signed along with a production number 49111. It measures approximately 7-5/8" x 6" and weighs 2.9lbs.

A beautiful art glass vase, made by Bertil Valien for kosta Boda - it belongs to the 'Artist Collection' series. Vase is properly marked on the bottom (see last picture). It is 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) tall and 4 1/4 inches (11 cm) wide. It is in fine condition.

This is an extraordinary etched footed bowl created by Goran Warff for Kosta. It measures 5 3/4" (15cm) high and is 11 1/2" (29cm) in diameter. On the underside is incised Kosta, WG, and S773. Excellent condition.

An Ekenas Swedish art glass cocktail pitcher with stirrer. This stylish 9-1/2" 1950s-60s cocktail pitcher has the original glass rod stirrer and partial original tag. This ultramodern pitcher has a polished pontil, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of white deposit on the interior at the bottom...

Offered is this rare Orrefors 'Ariel' glass vase designed by Edvin Ohrstrom - the vase has a 'Stress Line' running through it. Via the 'Ariel' technique, Ohrstrom decorated the vase with the 'peace motif' (dove, flowers, etc). The very heavy vase is 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm) wide and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) high. Properly signed on its polished pontil. Because of the stable stress line (see pictures), this rare vase is offered at a low price .

An Eames era ashtray, Germany, c 1960. Pale blue and clear glass overlay, with a silver lip at one end. The silver addition with German marks: stamped Von Häfen (in Hamburg) and 835. The base with inscribed mark xeix (?). Width "6 ¼/15,5 cm. Condition: barely visible nick where the silver lip has been fixed to the glass, otherwise fine.

Vase from the "Finlandia" series by Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala, Finland, 1965-69. Of tree trunk shape, the glass a very light green, watery shade.The irregular surface was created by the charred wooden moulds used for the Finlandia collection. The vase still retains its Iittala label and the polished base is signed Timo Sarpaneva 7362. Height "6/15 cm, diameter "4/ 10,2 cm. Condition: a few nicks to the sharply cut rim (cf. at 10 and 2 o’clock on pic.5)

This is the largest size Thule vase made by Holmgaard. The vase, made in smoke grey glass, is 9 1/4 inches (23.2 cm) in diameter, and stands 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm) tall at the highest point. It tapers to 3 1/8 inches (7.9 cm) at the base. It is in excellent, near mint condition, with no discernable scratches (except for those expected on the base), and no chips cracks or repairs. Absolutely beautiful piece of glass! The base is signed Holmgaard/1961 with Per Lutken's cypher

Small and beautiful cased opaline and clear glass bulb vase, with speckles in reddish brown to puce over the light blue opaline. By Arthur Percy for Gullaskruf glassworks. A “Seaweed” bowl by Vicke Lindstrand (1904 – 1983). The Seaweed series with its streaks of mainly green and black uses the variation of Graal glass called Mykene, developed by V.L. while he was still working for Orrefors in the 1930s. This art object by Tapio Wirkkala for IIttala, number 3572, was in production from 1954 to 1957. This piece was produced in 1957. It measures 3 3/8" (10cm) tall and is 3" (8cm) in diameter. On the underside is etched TAPIO WIRKKALA IITTALA 3572-57. Mint condition.

Bengt Edenfalk vase for Skruf. This squat, rounded corner vase is from the 1950's Spun series where glass threads are wound around the exterior of the piece as decoration. Edenfalk was a designer for Skruf from 1953 to 1978, then Kosta from 1978 on, pieces from the Spun series were featured in a major exhibition at Corning Museum of Glass in 1959. The color is amber which is quite pleasing to the eye. There are no chips, cracks or repairs and all spun glass is intact, polished pontil...

This lovely vase by Tapio Wirkkala, part of his Kantarelli series, measures 4 1/2" high and is 1 3/8" in diameter at the base. On the underside is etched TAPIO WIRKKALA IITTALA - 55. Excellent condition.

Kosta "Dark Magic" vase designed and hand-formed by Vicke Lindstrand. Vase stands 4 3/4 inches (12 cm) tall. Very organic form in gray cased glass. Color of vase varies with the angle and intensity of light. Vase does have a 1/2 inch (1.2 cm) scratch on the surface, shown in photos. No other damage. Signed Kosta LH 1605/V. Lindstrand. Orrefors Fishgraal (Graal) vase, circa 1954. Large crystal vase with fish swimming in pond with pond weed. Rarer, near spherical form. Signed ORREFORS/Graal No. 1159 H/Edward Hald. Piece measures 5 inches (12.7 cm) tall and is 5 3/8 inches (13.6 cm) in diameter. Highly reflective and gives illusion of many more fish swimming in pond. Condition is excellent,has minor surface scratches but no chips, cracks or repairs. Age appropriate scratches to base.

Here is a rare and important ariel vase by the master Edvin Ohrstrom for Orrefors. The zig zag design on a blood red background is spectacular. The vase, in excellent condition, measures 7 1/4" (18cm) tall. On the underside is incised Orrefors, Sweden, Edvin Ohrstrom, the date code Ariel 1055E.

Two massive modernist clear glass solitaire vases from the 1950s, each with a large bubble. Designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta, the Swedish glassworks. Both signed Kosta, LH for Lindstrand, 1496 and 1615 respectively (model numbers). Height "8 and 4 ¼ / 20 and 11 cm. Condition: fine, except for a few misty contours to the inside of both vases, near the top.
