Large Splatter glass vase for Hadeland (Norway) designed by Gro Bergslien. Vase is a combination of opalescent glass, splattered with blocks and networks of colors in yellow, rust, greens, and pinks, cased in clear glass. There are also embedded bubbles, adventurine, and mica spangles. The vase is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) tall and 7.75 inches (19.7 cm) in diameter. Marked on base Hadeland GroB in script. Fire polished pontil mark. No chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1970.

Rare, early Eva Englund vase from her days at Pukeberg prior to joining Orrefors. The piece dates from 1966, is very large and in exceptional condition. The series of these vases was called Eldlek ("Fireplay"). The piece measures 16 3/8 inches Tall (41.6 cm) and is 36 inches (91.4 cm) in circumference at the widest point, this is the largest size in this series...

Vase from the "Finlandia" series by Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala, Finland, 1965-69. Of tree trunk shape, the glass a very light green, watery shade.The irregular surface was created by the charred wooden moulds used for the Finlandia collection. The vase still retains its Iittala label and the polished base is signed Timo Sarpaneva 7362. Height "6/15 cm, diameter "4/ 10,2 cm. Condition: a few nicks to the sharply cut rim (cf. at 10 and 2 o’clock on pic.5)

Kosta "Dark Magic" vase designed and hand-formed by Vicke Lindstrand. Vase stands 4 3/4 inches (12 cm) tall. Very organic form in gray cased glass. This art object by Tapio Wirkkala for IIttala, number 3572, was in production from 1954 to 1957. This piece was produced in 1957. It measures 3 3/8" (10cm) tall and is 3" (8cm) in diameter. On the underside is etched TAPIO WIRKKALA IITTALA 3572-57. Mint condition.

This is a superior example of the celebrated (Milan Triennale 1951) Jäkälä (Lichen/Sormivaarsi (Finger) vase 3515. Produced 1950-1964. On the underside is etched Tapio Wirkkala 3515. It measures 8 1/2" (21.5cm). Mint condition.

The bottle flares out at the bottom. The bottom is decorated with six thumb prints that form a flower design.

There are no cracks, chips, or repairs to this item. It is in excellent condition.

An Ekenas Swedish art glass cocktail pitcher with stirrer. This stylish 9-1/2" 1950s-60s cocktail pitcher has the original glass rod stirrer and partial original tag. Heavy and substantial art glass vase designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta. c. 1950's.

Condition - very good with no damages observed.

An Eames era ashtray, Germany, c 1960. Pale blue and clear glass overlay, with a silver lip at one end. The silver addition with German marks: stamped Von Häfen (in Hamburg) and 835. The base with inscribed mark xeix (?). Width "6 ¼/15,5 cm. Condition: barely visible nick where the silver lip has been fixed to the glass, otherwise fine.

This is a real vintage art glass vase. It is very elegant. It was designed by Edward Hald. It was made in Sweden in 1936.

There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs to this vase. However, there is a scratch about 1 3/4" on the side of the vase and a few others from use. It is not as clear as I would like it to be.

Large wheel engraved vase depicting birds in trees just leafing out, the design is executed over the entire surface of the vase from base to rim. The shape of the vase is a tapering, pinched, ovoid form.
