A modernist pair of Sterling Silver salt and pepper shakers by Rancho Alegre. Main portion is in a brushed texture contrasting with the bottom disks which are shiny and smooth. The very top parts are shiny also. Measure 3" tall and 1 1/2" across the bottom. Signed Rancho Alegre, Sterling, Taxco and 925. Also signed N. Giles on the bottom of one, probably for the designer. A rare Art Deco mechanical "Trap Jigger" in chrome with red bakelite accents made by Fay. When the arms of the filled jigger are rested on the rim of a glass or jigger a plunger inside is forced up to allow the liquid to pour out the bottom.

The classic sterling and rosewood three-piece carving set by Hector Aguilar, Mexico, c.1944. The set usually consists of only two pieces. An interesting silver case with enameled hunter shooting at ducks. No marks. The opening measures 2-3/16" round and the piece is 3-1/2" (h) x 4-1/2"(w) x 1" Two holes for screws are on the back. There is a small dab of solder on the top inside. This appears to be silverplate and would benefit from a cleaning.

Smart-looking "No. 250 Coldseal" aluminum cocktail shaker by Kraftware, ca. 1946. The shape is very interesting, tapering from a narrow footed base to broader shoulders and a bell-shaped top. Raised rings add to the look. Bottom is marked "Kraftware." 12.5" tall. Nice condition. This shaker looks terrific when highly polished!! A wonderful addition to your collection, and relatively hard to find!.
