Superb and extremely rare silverplated cocktail shaker in the "Ile de France" pattern by Meriden Britannia Plate Co. This is one of the most desirable of the high style Art Deco shakers. The ocean liner "Ile de France" was launched in 1926--not as the largest ship afloat, but intentionally as the most elegant ship in the world. This shaker was intended to celebrate that achievement and took its streamlined design elements from the ship itself...

This crystal and silver plate condiment set was produced in England in the 1920s. The silver plated stand measures 7 1/4 inches high, 5 3/8 inches long and 4 1/4 inches wide. It contains 4 finely cut crystal bottles, 3 of which have silver plated tops. There is a spoon in the mustard jar. The stand has little ball feet. Condition: Excellent

A fine engraved Ellis Barker silver plated coffee pot from the 1920s. This top quality English silver plated 9-1/8" engraved and chased coffee pot by Ellis Barker (or Barker Ellis in England)has the original wood handle and it is stamped MADE IN ENGLAND 10 with the Menorah maker's mark (used after 1912). This c1920s pot is in excellent condition with no monograms, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A vintage pierced sterling silver napkin ring c1920s by Roden. Roden was bought out by Birks in 1928. It is stamped STERLING with the Roden company mark. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several decades after. This 1-3/4" across napkin ring is 5/8" wide, and it has (remarkably) never been monogrammed...

Art Deco sterling silver cigar set. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1920. This set comprises, tray, lighter, and 6 ashtrays. Tray rectangular with rounded corners and flat rim. Two central wells of which one rectangular for ashtrays and one round for lighter. Lighter round and bellied with high-looping side handles and hinged and tubular wick cover. Ashtrays rectangular with tapering sides. Acid-etched rinceaux ornament...

A Pair of Sterling Silver Sardine or Tea Sandwich Tongs, by SSMC (Sterling Silver Manufacturing Co.), in th "Simplicity" pattern, introduced in 1910. Length 5", circa 1920 and in excellent condition.

Lovely English 1920's pink guilloche enamel sterling 8 day clock. This great little octagonal clock measures 3 1/8" by 3 1/8". A finely chased silver edge accents the guilloche enameling. The clock face is a beige color with black deco numerals and dark blue hands. The face is covered with a slightly convex glass. Brass easel back. Marks include an anchor, a lion, and an "A"-Birmingham, sterling, 1925. In addition there are makers marks which appear to be ABLP. Excellent condition.

Sterling Silver tray made in Austria c. 1925. It is perfectly matched with its removable glass bottom. It measures 14.5" in length including the handles, and 9.75" across. The cut to fit glass base is 11.5" long by 8.75" wide. It has four ball shaped feet. The overall weight of the sterling without the glass is about one pound.

Sterling silver pastry server in Georg Jensen’s 1927 “Viking” pattern (also called “Nordisk”). This is one of the rarest Jensen patterns, and was designed by the master himself. It is beautifully crafted of the heaviest silver and combines traditional Scandinavian motifs with an Art Deco sensibility. The reverse is stamped with the hallmark used until 1930. This pattern has been out of production for many years, and is extremely hard to find.

This wonderful pair of sterling silver triple candle holder was made in Germany circa 1920. The elegant fluted design decorated candle holders are 10 ¼” high, 11” wide at the widest part and the base is 5 3/8” wide at the widest part. The hallmarks are the crown and half moon, 925 STERLING, and a bear. The candle holders are hollow (not filled with cement) in the bottom there are some weights for stability, but those can be removed by unscrewing the bottom cover...

Chinese-style bowl, ca 1920. Mottled green hardstone urn on silver gilt fretwork base with 4 splayed supports. A pretty ornament that works as an ashtray with silver gilt leaf cradle mounted to rim. Marked “Edward I Farmer / Sterling”. Very good with nice toning. Rim has a few fleabite irregularities.

Sterling silver water pitcher by Tiffany circa 1930. Simple, elegant design with an "AD" monogrammed on the front. It measures approximately 8" tall and from handle to spout measures approximately 7.5". It says on the bottom, it holds 4.25 pints. The marking on the bottom says: "TIFFANY & Co, 16974 MAKERS 8391, STERLING SILVER, 925-1000, M" It is in good condition, and the overall weight is 2 lbs.

A fine and vintage pair of sterling silver three-footed open salt dishes with cobalt glass liners. These 1-1/8" tall and 2" across salt dips are stamped STERLING /183 and they weigh 47.4 grams (silver only). This pair of table serving pieces is is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of roughness (a couple of fleabites) on the hidden outer edge of one of the hand-ground liners...

This sterling souvenir spoon has a cut out of the Statue of Liberty in New York. It is 3 3/8" long. It was made by Enco, Inc. This spoon is in excellent condition. This is an unknown maker to me.

A Large and Heavy Paul Revere (Sons of Liberty) Bowl by Crichton Brothers of London through their New York Affiliate. The Bowl is 10" in diameter and 5" high and 5.25" at the base and weighs 29.1 Troy ounces. There is a monogram on the side "CAV FBV 1910-1035", presumably given as a 25th Anniversary gift that year. It is in excellent condition. Note that the original is in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

George V sterling silver bowl. Made by Mappin & Webb in Sheffield in 1923. Faceted and curved with monteith-style molded curvilinear rim. Foot raised with same. Fully marked including design no. 606564, which was registered in 1912. Excellent condition.
