A fine vintage cutwork Roden sterling silver napkin ring. Roden was bought out by Birks in 1928. This 5/8" wide napkin ring measures 1-11/16" across the interior and it has a Janie monogram. It is stamped STERLING with the Roden company mark. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several decades after. It is in excellent vintage condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Pretty sterling silver sardine fork in Manchester's 1951 "Amaryllis" pattern. The design is somewhat similar to Chantilly, and has a very Victorian feel. The fork could be used for sardines, as well as for a variety of hors d'oeuvres. The back of the handle is stamped with Manchester's hallmark.

Letter opener hand made of sterling, brass, and copper by Los Castillo, Mexico, c.1940. Well executed married metals design on front and back comprise the top of the piece. It is signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MEXICO #58" and was made before the bellmark system was instituted by the Mexican gov't. in 1947. Very nice sterling silver Colonial-style porringer by Alvin Silver Co. Sterling porringers are a traditional gift for newborns, serving as a feeding dish. They are also suitable for mint/nut dishes or wine bottle coasters. The bottom is marked "Lullaby Sterling" which is a division of Alvin.
