A modernist pair of Sterling Silver salt and pepper shakers by Rancho Alegre. Main portion is in a brushed texture contrasting with the bottom disks which are shiny and smooth. The very top parts are shiny also. Measure 3" tall and 1 1/2" across the bottom. Signed Rancho Alegre, Sterling, Taxco and 925. Also signed N. Giles on the bottom of one, probably for the designer. Nice condition with some minor tarnish. Pre eagle, 1948. Fine Mid Century feel.

A interesting Art Deco chrome wine bottle caddy in the form of a sled. The runners ensure that the caddy can be pushed easily across a table surface. The sides of the sleigh are decorated in a hammered and pierced pattern. This caddy can be used any time of year, but would be particularly nice on the Holiday table!

An elegant set of six gilt sterling silver mint julep spoons, the bowls decorated in the form of a pair of overlapping mint leaves. The stems are hollow, so they can be used as sippers, too. The spoons can also be used for iced tea. The gilding is a beautiful, rich shade of gold. The spoons are marked “Tiffany & Co. Sterling”.

A pair of English sterling silver 2-3/8" candlesticks hallmarked Birmingham, England 1969. These small yet elegant candle holders are traditional in shape and they have felted bottoms. A silver spoon, the shape of traditional Russian type with a long handle and egg-shaped gilt bowl, the modernist pattern pointing towards the 1960’s. Russian (Soviet era) hallmark 875 with star and Cyrillic B plus another mark with the letters B and Yu. Weight 38 grams, length "6½/ 16,5 cm. Condition: a few scratch marks to the bowl.

An interesting silver case with enameled hunter shooting at ducks. No marks. The opening measures 2-3/16" round and the piece is 3-1/2" (h) x 4-1/2"(w) x 1" Two holes for screws are on the back. There is a small dab of solder on the top inside. This appears to be silverplate and would benefit from a cleaning.

Circa 1950-60, very heavy sterling silver hinged or jointed fish bottle opener with abalone (mother of pearl) and black onyx eyes. Made in Mexico, it is fully hallmarked including 925 on the back side of the tail. Excellent condition, it measures 7.25" long and weights 5.48 oz.
