A Dutch silver figural sugar sifter spoon from the 1920s. This 5-1/2" nicely detailed table serving spoon features a woman carrying two pails as the finial and the bowl is nicely pierced. It has an obscured maker's mark and a difficult to see sword mark on the join of the handle and bowl and it could date anywhere from the 1900s to the 1950s. On the back handle there is General J. W. Denver, Indian camp, First log cabin in 1859 and panning for gold in Cherry Creek.

The top of the spoon has a building and a shield with birds in the shield, Fort Pitt 1764, and an oil derrick.

The bowl of the spoon is the Pittsburg, Pennsylvania Post Office building.

ON the back of the spoon there is the court house, another view of the post office, and Pittsburg.

A Roden (Birks) sterling 1930s napkin ring with an N monogram by Roden Bros, Toronto. Roden was bought out by Birks in 1928. This 3/4" wide sterling napkin ring measures 2" x 1-1/2" across the interior and it has lined decoration. It has a rubbed STERLING mark with the Roden maker's mark. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several decades after...

A vintage hammered copper small pot, unmarked, likely circa first part of the 20th century, with interesting curved handle, and hand placed grommet. Measurements are 4" high not including handle, and about 5 1/4" across at widest. Not the famous Dirk van Erp of the San Francisco Bay area, but nevertheless and interesting piece. There is a dent along the bottom edge as shown.
