Unusual sterling silver bird, an eagle or phoenix, from Taxco, Mexico. Designed and produced in the early 1950's, the intricately detailed head, neck, feathers, legs and feet are attached to the body which is a hard stone egg. In excellent condition, this rare find stands 5" high by 3.25" head to tail.

Three metal martini glasses stamped on the bottom "MADE IN/HSIANG YUN CO./HANKOW." Hankow (Hankou) is part of the present day city of Wuhan. In the early 20th century the city contained five foreign concessions.

Possibly paktong or another base metal with a resemblance to silver, though it is considerably harder. 4 ¾ inches (12 cm) tall.

A large well rendered bronze rhinosaurus of an African white rhino. This realistic rhino has heavily textured skin, wrinkles and folds at its neck and legs, and its tail is contoured around the back leg. In excellent condition, it measures 18.5" long, 8.25" high, 6.25" wide.

An Art Deco sterling silver tea ball strainer with chain and ring for steeping loose tea leaves circa 1920s 1930. This vintage and classically simple tea serving piece includes the original chain which anchors the two halves of the ball together, and it has the original finger ring. Circa 1950-60, very heavy sterling silver hinged or jointed fish bottle opener with abalone (mother of pearl) and black onyx eyes. Made in Mexico, it is fully hallmarked including 925 on the back side of the tail. Excellent condition, it measures 7.25" long and weights 5.48 oz.

A modernist sterling silver graduated jigger by Tiffany marked off in half-ounce increments. This design, created in 1939 at the height of Tiffany’s Art Deco period, remained popular through the ensuing mid-century years. The bottom is marked “Tiffany & Co. Sterling” and has the date mark for 1955-65...

Handcrafted, fluted candlesticks with silver spiraled carved wood rings at the center. Dimensions: 6 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches diameter; holds 3/4 inch diameter candles. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition.

A rare sterling silver bar spoon/cocktail muddler in the "Aztec" pattern by Hector Aguilar. This very handsome design was one of Aguilar's most icon creations. The long spoon can be used to stir cocktails and is heavy enough to be used as a muddler, as well. The reverse is stamped with the mark used by Aguilar from 1955 until 1962.

Unique Silver nut dish from the infamous States Lines Cargo ships, they were hot beds of spying just before WW11 between Ny and Germany . below is some info on the ships. Size D 4.5" by 1" high. A vintage hammered copper small pot, unmarked, likely circa first part of the 20th century, with interesting curved handle, and hand placed grommet. Measurements are 4" high not including handle, and about 5 1/4" across at widest. Not the famous Dirk van Erp of the San Francisco Bay area, but nevertheless and interesting piece. There is a dent along the bottom edge as shown.

The bowl of this sterling souvenir spoon features an embossed view of the Ferry Building. It was made by the Shephard Company of Melrose, Massachusetts circa 1892. This spoon is 5 1/8" long.

A Substantial Gorham Sterling Silver Rectangular Platter for Black, Starr and Frost. It is 14" square and 1" deep in dimensions and weighs 28.2 Troy ounces. Dates from the 1920's. Mint condition. It has a monogram on the edge (see picture).

A vintage sterling silver figural jigger by Gorham, the sides marked off with enameled stoplights in green, yellow and red, meant to signify “go,” “caution,” and “stop.” Each light corresponds to the 1, 2-1/2 and 3-1/2 ounce markings on the jigger’s bottom. The bottom is hallmarked by Gorham.
