Designed by Georg Nilsson and produced by the big Dutch cutlery manufacturer Gero in the Danish factory they had purchased in 1922 and where GN (trained by Georg Jensen) was the chief designer. Marked Gerotin (tin is Danish for pewter). Height "3¼/ 8 and "2¼/ 6 cm. Condition: fine.

Aesthetic movement hand hammered silverplate soup tureen featuring a large heron by Mermond Jaccard and Co of St. Louis, MO. In excellent condition, it measures 9.5" including finial and 12" diameter at widest. Circa 1920-1950

Outstanding weather vane with a figure of a male golfer preparing to tee off. The vane is constructed of cast white metal with a coppery brown painted finish. The vane is attributed to be from the clubhouse of an American golf and country club built in 1935.

Origin: American, circa 1935. Condition: excellent, paint wear appropriate to age. Size: 26" long; 19-1/2" tall.

Small American sterling silver mint julep cup, ca 1930. Retailed by JE Caldwell in Philadelphia. Straight sides with molded rim and stepped foot. Fully marked including retailer’s stamp, no. 587, and phrase “Washington / Reproduction”. Very good condition.

Description: Very attractive sterling silver bowl with appealing design. It measures 8.5 inches in diameter and 1.5 inches high and it weights approximately 4.75 TOZ,in good condition with some minor abrasion.

Cast iron boot scrape in the form of a Scottie in its original blue paint. The two long spikes that hold the boot scrape in the ground are marked "Copyrighted 1927 By Household Patent Co. Morristown, PA." The company made a variety of metal products such as weather vanes and boot scrapes. Excellent condition; about 5% paint loss; the back side has remnants of old fabric-based adhesive tape that could be removed. 10" wide; 15.5" tall.

Nice Art Deco brass cocktail shaker in the form of a wine bottle. The bottle separates at the shoulders to reveal the strainer and the lip of the bottle removes for pouring. The bottom of the shaker is indented just as a glass wine bottle is. We’ve had many figural cocktail shakers, but this is the first bottle we’ve had.

Origin: probably America, ca. 1935. Condition: untouched patina, a couple of ding nears the bottom edge and another at the shoulder...

Modern sterling silver picture frame. Made by Graff, Washbourne & Dunn in New York, ca 1930. Rectangular window in plain and flat surround. With glass, silk lining, and velvet back and hinged easel support for portrait (vertical) display. Marked “Sterling” and maker’s stamp. Very good condition.

These lovely sterling silver spoons are in a Colonial Revival pattern, simply decorated with a shell at the tip of the handle. The backs are stamped with the high-end retailer's name "Bigelow, Kennard & Co." of Boston, indicating a date before 1922. Very fine pair of George VI sterling silver master salt dishes. The salts are raised on paw feet surmounted by lion masks. The everted rims are gadrooned. The salts retain the original cobalt blue glass liners. The salts are identical, but were made in different years by the same silversmith. One has the date mark for 1936 and the other for 1939. The only difference is that glass liner in one is a little thicker than the other.

English Modern sterling silver box. Tall and rectangular with curved corners. Cover hinged with gently curved top and double-scroll tab. Box interior cedar-lined with open leather-lined bottom. Cover interior gilt. Worn marks including maker’s stamp for Arthur & John Zimmerman, a Birmingham maker active from the 1920s to 1940s. Very good condition.
