Being offered is an exceptional and rare pair of circa 1944 sterling silver votive candle holders by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico. Entirely handcrafted flared bowls with silver wire & ball feet. Dimensions: 3 1/2 inches diameter by 2 inches tall. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. These are usually offered as salt cellars, and can be used as salt cellars, but Spratling’s original design was for votive candle use. Other pairs are available.

Being offered is a circa 1940 sterling silver pie, cake, lasagna etc etc server by William Spratling of Taxco, Mexico. Handwrought server with allover spot hammering; an applied flattened ball at the end of the terminal handle. Dimensions: 10 1/4 inches long by 2 3/4 inches wide. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Typical of William Spratling, great design, construction and weight!

This heavy 6" long (spout to handle) footed pitcher weighs 175.4 grams (6.2 ounces) and it has the JEB maker's mark for James Edward Barry. English Modern sterling silver box. Tall and rectangular with curved corners. Cover hinged with gently curved top and double-scroll tab. Box interior cedar-lined with open leather-lined bottom. Cover interior gilt. Worn marks including maker’s stamp for Arthur & John Zimmerman, a Birmingham maker active from the 1920s to 1940s. Very good condition.

This is a STERLING TIFFANY & CO. PERFUME BOTTLE designed in the Shape of a Miniature FLASK. Size is 1" X 1 3/4" and made with Good Medium to Heavy Gauge STERLING SILVER. There is the Screw in Stopper with Wand atop. Marked on One side: TIFFANY & CO.; 180 degrees around reads: STERLING/ and an Asian Mark. Looks to have been contracted to a Japanese Silver maker circa 1950. CONDITION is EXCELLENT ...zero dings or dents.

A vintage mid century modernist set of 2 salt dishes and 2 spoons by William Spratling in sterling silver and rosewood. These were in the Montgomery Ward 1943 Christmas Book and each sold for $4.75 including the spoon. From Spratling's 1st design period.

The salts measures 1 3/8" square and 1" high. Marked with Spratling Made in Mexico around the conjoined 'WS', and Sterling. These were the marks used between 1931-46...

The classic sterling and rosewood three-piece carving set by Hector Aguilar, Mexico, c.1944. The set usually consists of only two pieces. Set consists of a two-pronged meat fork(14" long) and two carving knives(17" and 15 1/2" long each). The rosewood and sterling handles have a glorious design and the knives blades are iron(and have some rust). The handles are in excellent condition. A vintage sterling silver Caddy spoon by William Spratling with a lightly hammered finish and shovel design. This spoon is from the first design period.

Measures 3 5/8" long and 1 1/2" across. Dates from before 1946. Marked with the script 'WS' surrounded by Spratling Made in Mexico, and Spratling Silver. Marks show some wear. Has minor wear to the surface appropriate to the age, some tarnish and surface scratches.
