This mug was gifted and engraved on the bottom in 1969. In excellent condition, it measures 6 1/4" from bottom to top of handle, 5 1/2" from bottom to top of tankard, and 4 3/4" in diameter.

Traditional Georgian sterling silver tray. Made by Lunt Silversmiths in Greenfield, Mass. Square cartouche with molded curvilinear rim. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and S3S. Very good condition.

Circa 1950-60, very heavy sterling silver hinged or jointed fish bottle opener with abalone (mother of pearl) and black onyx eyes. Made in Mexico, it is fully hallmarked including 925 on the back side of the tail. Excellent condition, it measures 7.25" long and weights 5.48 oz.

Set of 7 Francis I sterling silver nut dishes. Made by Reed & Barton in Taunton, Mass. 1951-52. Quatrefoil well, lobed sides, and scrolled rim. Embossed fruits and leaves. Nice pieces in the classic pattern. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern name, and no. X569. Three have 1951 date symbol and 4 have 1952 date symbol. Very good condition.

Set of 13 American Modern sterling silver place card holders, ca 1950. This set comprises 12 place card holders and 1 menu holder. Each: Cast figure of recumbent whippet with gracile limbs and imperious pointy head mounted to oval base with applied gadrooned rim. The place card holders have a ring clip and the menu holder has a heart clip. Mondaine novelties guaranteed to raise the tone of one’s dinner parties. Marked “UV [in circle] Sterling”...

A small bronze figure of a penguin by Walter Bosse and Herta Baller, Vienna, c 1950, unsigned. This model, with neck feathers, does not seem to be among the later reproduced miniatures. Nice patina. Height "2/ 5,5 cm. Condition: fine.

A wonderful Mid Century Modern box by Salvador Teran in brass embellished with tiles in shades of blue, red, green, orange, black and white. Depicts a servant with a steaming bowl of food. Signed on the bottom, Hand Wrought, Salvador, Hecho en Mexico, 430. Box measures 5 5/8" long, 4" wide and 1 3/4" tall. Has some minor tarnish and one very small area of uneven finish. Tight hinge. High style.

A three piece carving set with stag horn handles. The blade has light wear and is marked accordingly. The red shagreen box's satin insert has some brown staining.

Set of 4 Midcentury Modern sterling silver nut dishes. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Each: Stylized leaf with radiating veins, 5 tips, and stubby stem. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 22475, and director’s letter M (1947-56). Excellent condition.

Designed by Spratling c. 1950's, this martini pitcher & stirrer were hand wrought in Taxco, Mexico. The pitcher stands 5 1/2" tall & weighs 400 grams. The stirrer/spoon is 10" long. Both are in excellent condition. Both the spoon and pitcher are signed on the reverse. The pitcher is pictured on p. 258 of MEXICAN SILVER by Penny Morrill & Carole Berk. An Austrian bronze bottle stopper by Walter Bosse and Herta Baller, Vienna, c 1950. Modeled as a happy and sleepy drunkard, bottle in hand, leaning onto a sagging lamp post. Cork stopper still in place, stamped inscription: Henkes Delfshaven Holland. Henkes was a Dutch gin/genever producer. Height including cork "3¾/ 9,5 cm. Condition: fine.

Being offered is a circa 1950 sterling silver pitcher by Sanborns, of Mexico City, Mexico, entirely handwrought lobed form with chased and embossed Aztec rose motifs; with handsome stylized handle. Dimensions: 12 inches high as x 5 inches diameter x 8 1/2 inches from handle to spout. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Great weight 31 oz.

A fine hand wrought paperweight from the workshops of Dirk Van Erp in San Francisco, California circa 1950's. Measures about 4 1/8" by 3 1/8" by 1 3/4". Lightly hammered brass with exotic wood handle, fine stylish design.

Delightful sterling silver ostrich sculpture from Taxco, Mexico. Designed and produced in the early 1950's, it is fully hallmarked. The intricately detailed head, neck, feathers, legs and feet are attached to the body which is a hard stone egg. In excellent condition, this rare find stands tall measuring 5" high by 5.75" head to tail.

Midcentury Modern sterling silver picture frame. Made by Watrous Mfg. Co. (part of International) in Wallingford, Conn. Rectangular window in clean and unadorned flat surround. With glass, silk lining, and velvet back and hinged easel support for portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked including Watrous and International stamps and no. 30. Very good condition.

Silver plated Repousse Jewelry Box on three(3) curved feet with hinged dome top, Continental origin, 4 3/8" high, 6 1/2" wide-widest part top rim with hinged top, spray of floral branches around the entire box, red velvet lined inside the box. Silver plate is worn some areas.

Traditional sterling silver tray. Made by Stieff in Baltimore in 1956. Round and plain well and flat rim. Shoulder tapering with repousse floral garland on stippled ground. A nice piece in a regional style. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, date letter, no. 200, and phrase “Hand Chased”. Very good condition.
