A tightly hooked rug, American, perhaps Amish, from the 1930’s. Wool on burlap with hand attached black cotton backing. 29 inches long by 22 inches wide. The unusual free hand pattern shows black stars with pale blue crosses in an integrated geometric pattern.

Condition: Overall excellent condition with one professional darned repair on the border between one star and cross (see close up image)...

Cotton hand made sunbonnet quilt, c.1930's. There are 42 sunbonnets in this 64" by 78" quilt. Beautiful red and white sunbonnet quilt, c.1930's. There are 18 sunbonnets girls and the quilt measures 68" by 90". The fabric seems to be a sort of rayon, perhaps, as it has a sheen. The all around red scalloped edging is 4 1/2" wide and the backing is all white. There are some light brown stains around on one of the sunbonnets(see photo). Otherwise, excellent condition. Dresden Plate design quilt, c.1930's. The white cotton quilt measures 55" by 76" and there are 12 squares, made of different patterns, with a pink patterned border. Quilt made of wool rectangles of different wool fabric separated by pink stitching, Pennsylvania, c.1930's. The rectangles measure 4 1/2" by 3 1/4" and the quilt is 38" by 60". There is a 1" border of an interesting fabric. A Persian Shahsavan bag dating from around 1900. The face is woven in wool in Sumakh flatweave technique, showing different repeating ornaments. The back is made of stripes in Kilim. In each corner is a child kneeling in prayer with a baby animal or pet: a girl with a lamb, a boy with puppy, girl with bunny, and a boy with a kitten.
