A beautiful, elegant, and rare carpet motif micro beaded purse. The rarity of the purse comes from the use of an open field in a cream white with representations of four flasks. The field is surrounded by a triple guard (borders) of extremely detailed and intricate flower representations. Finely done carpet motif purses, as this is, are known to use beads of the smallest size, often far smaller than figural or scenic purses...

A stunning cotton satin pillow made from a luxurious vintage damask brocade fabric in the style of Fortuny, featuring an ornate repeating pattern of flora and fauna in striking colors of lemon/chartreuse and soft blue, tassel fringe, most likely Italian, circa 1940's. Excellent condition.

Large folk art hooked cotton rug of a maroon horse outlined in black and with black hooves and tail trotting to the left against a tan ground with maroon corners and blue bands to enclose the horse. Some of the ground hooked in squares of different shades. Dots of brown for nose, eye and in the tail. 22 by 35 inches.

Condition: some wear and small losses around edges, stain at the edge above the horses head and below raised hoof...

A very pleasing set of 7 linen cocktail napkins with appliqués of rooster heads. The napkins are beautifully finished along the edges with red buttonhole stitching. Completely hand sewn. Circa 1940. Excellent condition, no staining or other wear. Size: 5” x 8”.

Vintage Hermes-Paris 100% silk navy blue pocket scarf or handkerchief with a soft geometric gold and ecru chain link pattern. In excellent condition this scarf has never been used. Measures 16.5 inches square.

Pua kumbu woven on cotton to represent chimeras, birds together with foliage and geometric design. Natural red, brown and blue colours. Sarawak (Eastern Malaysia), Iban peoples. Length: 220 cm. Width: 117 cm. Very good condition. Acquired in Singapore in 1978.

Gorgeous vintage Hermes silk scarf (“carré”) worked in rich shades of medium blue, cream, golds, browns and greys. The design illustrates various 18th century gilded carriage or chariot wheels, including one emblazoned with an image of the Sun King, Louis XIV. The hand-rolled edges (rolled toward the front) are plump. “Hermès Paris” is worked into the design, as is the signature of the desiger, Caty Latham.

Beautiful red and white sunbonnet quilt, c.1930's. There are 18 sunbonnets girls and the quilt measures 68" by 90". The fabric seems to be a sort of rayon, perhaps, as it has a sheen. The all around red scalloped edging is 4 1/2" wide and the backing is all white. There are some light brown stains around on one of the sunbonnets(see photo). Otherwise, excellent condition. A beautiful enamel on copper tiny coin purse in the form of a watch; marked Paris, and with a scene of the Place de la Concorde; 1 3/8" diameter

A charming petit point on silk purse, done in the tiniest of stitches, and showing a different scene on each side. On the front is a young woman feeding a chicken, the other side showing a swan in a lake with a fountain and castle in the distance. Both sides have a line of flowers surrounding the scenes, the whole against a pale gray lavender background...

Oval quilt that can be used as a mat or small rug, cl1930's. Hand made, this oval measures 18" by 29". Lovely design and hand sewn, it is in fair condition with some tears. May have come from Washington Irving's estate.........$25 insured USA shipping.

SALE The scarf is probably NH and is dated and also has an initial, Al. It is handwoven and is 38" on two sides and then 47" across the back. It is 1/2 of a square, triangle. It is in perfect condition. The colors are beige, brown, and tan. This is a museum-quality Shaker scarf.

Dresden Plate design quilt, c.1930's. The white cotton quilt measures 55" by 76" and there are 12 squares, made of different patterns, with a pink patterned border.
