Measuring 11.5" wide x 15.75" long, this lovely, circa 1930, crosstitch cross stitch sampler depicts the history of a New York City and New Jersey family with multiple cultural nationalities displayed as well as a variety of early family occupations, significant streets, town, and structures.

Interestingly, whomever wrought this very detailed, family-history sampler omitted just one significant detail- the family surname!

This purse was purchased from a very fine estate sale, and the quality of this Judith Jack purse reflects the sale from which it came. The marquisite (pyrite) is "grade A" mined in South America. The stones are hand set in sterling silver. The design and craftsmanship are superb. The lining repeatedly presents Judith Jack's name. The metal cartouche says "Judith Jack, made in Italy." Purse is 5 1/2" by 4 5/8". 1 1/2" front to back. Beaded chain is 11 1/2" end to end.

Stunning vintage 1930s Art Deco bag made from fine fabric mesh covered in dozens, maybe hundreds, of brilliant prong set colorless rhinestones, over an ivory fabric base layer. With an engraved silvertone or silverplated frame and a flat cover which is studded with colorless stones. The cover flips up to open, and has a rhinestone decorated catch, and a silvertone metal chain. Baby quilt embroidered with the child's prayer "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep" with a yellow border. In each corner is a child kneeling in prayer with a baby animal or pet: a girl with a lamb, a boy with puppy, girl with bunny, and a boy with a kitten. Very good antique/vintage condition with some wear at the edges. Well quilted and embroidered, it measures 32" x 37.5". Dates circa 1930's.

A tightly hooked rug, American, perhaps Amish, from the 1930’s. Wool on burlap with hand attached black cotton backing. 29 inches long by 22 inches wide. The unusual free hand pattern shows black stars with pale blue crosses in an integrated geometric pattern.

Condition: Overall excellent condition with one professional darned repair on the border between one star and cross (see close up image)...
