A beautiful Murano glass handkerchief vase, made probably by Barovier & Toso (designer: Ercole Barovier) around 1950. The vase is made up of poly-chrome fused canes on a colorless ground glass. The vase is 4 3/4 inches (12 cm) wide and 3 3/4 inches (9,5 cm) tall. Fine condition. Polished pontil. Unsigned.

Georg Jensen with Christian Mohl Hansen designed this dove brooch, possibly because the world was at war when this one was produced. It is1.75 in at widest point , 1.5in high (4.25cm, 4cm). There are many GJ doves in existence but few that are as old as this one, which was produced more than 80 years ago. Printed on the back is the Georg Jensen mark used from 1933 to 1944. Printed there also are 925, sterling, Denmark, and the number 155.

This fish sculpture by Gunnar Nylund for Rorstrand, mounted on a wood pedestal, has an exceptional glaze. It measures 6 1/2" (16.5cm) tall. Excellent condition.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen. The D-J factory closed in 1984. It was a relatively small factory with limited production. The model number is 1032 which we believe was modeled before 1970. It is 4 3/4 inches high and 3 1/2 inches across the wings. This duckling is a spunky little guy. His modeling captures his lively personality. He is hand painted with shades of brown and beige giving him a soft appearance. Condition: Excellent, first quality...

This large footed serving tray by Sheridan Silver Plate is 15 3/4" square. It has scroll work and floral designs on the edges, feet, and center. No Monograms! It is hallmarked Sheridan Silver on the bottom. There are no dents, dings! There have been no repairs to this item. This item is in excellent condition. A Webb hand blown amber glass decanter & 8 glasses. This 1930s-50s hand blown amber art glass decanter and eight matching glasses is by Webb of England. The 10" decanter, stopper and the four 3-1/4" and four 4-3/4" glasses all have knobby glass protrusions and the decanter is acid stamped WEBB ENGLAND. This set is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs...

This porcelain group was produced in Denmark by Royal Copenhagen between 1969 and 1974. The model number is 1107. They measure 6 inches high and 5 1/2 inches wide. They are signed by the renowned modeler, Knud Kyhn. This rowdy pair of cubs are full of action playing. This artist was able to capture the moment in lively motion. They are hand painted in the typical Royal Copenhagen pallet of colors. Condition: Excellent first quality.

In Marc Heiremans' book ARCHIMEDE SEGUSO this "a canne ritorte" design is documented on page 82. The execution and finish of this fazzoletto confirm the Murano Artisans' mastery of working with Glass and would be a fine addition to any serious collection of 20th Century Murano Glass. The pontil mark on the bottom has been carved out and polished, indicating careful attention to details. The piece measures 4 1/2"H x 6" D. Condition is perfect.

Here is a charming miniature vase by Sven Jonson, as part of the celebrated Argenta series of objects produced by Gustavsberg, Sweden. It measures 2 1/4" (5.5cm) high. The stylized fish decoration is stunning, with no silver loss. Mint condition.

Flavio Poli designed 5 variations of this fine example of Modern Design for Seguso Vetri D'Arte in the 1930's. Marc Heiremans' "SEGUSO VETRI D'ARTE" documents this sculptural bowl form: Model #3434, P. 85. This beauty is done in the "pesco oro" technique, with gold foil embedded to enhance the richness of the material. Thick sculpted glass to the exterior produces a modernist form which beautifully catches light. It measures 2 1/4"H, 6"D and is in excellent condition.

Diminutive fazzoletto vase made from latticino and zanfrico canes. Measuring 4"x4"x2.75"h., the vase bears a worn but identifiable Seguso label from the mid-fifties.

Bead Chain fixtures were the standard ceiling fixture of the American home from the 1920’s through the 1940’s. Vintage Boston era early shield mark of "Guglielmo Cini Sterling" used while he was here in Boston before he moved out West in 1957. Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1154 sweet pea vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - in pink cased glass. (A layer of pink glass over an inner milk-white layer, this treatment is very rare as it was only made from 1938 to about 1940.)The vase is approximately 4 1/2 inches high and in perfect condition...
