Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1154 sweet pea vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - in the ruby wash. (This color is a ruby wash applied over crystal glass. It has an almost opalescent quality to it when held to the light.) The vase is approximately 4 1/2 inches high and in perfect condition...

A nice bronze trumpet vase by Carl Sorensen. The surface is patinated in a mottled green, and the lower part of the vase is enhanced with parallel bands of various widths. A matching band appears around the outer top rim. Sorensen made a variety of decorative metalwares, but little is known about him. He worked in Pennsylvania, and his pieces were possibly sold by Roycroft and Tiffany. The base is signed “Carl Sorensen” and also has his hallmark.

Six(6) English Copeland Spode Stoneware Demitasse Cups and Saucers, Pheasant design in solid green color wide band, 2 1/4" high, 2 1/4" diameter-top rim, with Butterflies and Dragon Flies decorated inside the cup, and low relief floral Branch design in solid green color outside the cup, saucer is decorated with wide green band with Pheasant. Marked "Copeland, Spode" in brown, and impressed mark with hand written number in red on the bottom. The condition is good, no damages.

Unusual small 7 ½ inch diameter Paipoint cut glass plate with sterling silver reticulated rim. The plate is cut with Pairpoint’s pattern No 0137. as shown in “The Pairpoint Glass Knowledge Center” website. This pair of porcelain sea lions was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1950s. They measure about 5 inches long, 4 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches tall. They are signed by the artist K. Himmelstoss, a fine modeler who worked at Rosenthal. These adorable little guys look like they are kissing. They are well modeled and hand painted. Artisans at Rosenthal created animal figures with character and personality as you can see. Condition: Excellent first quality.

Lovely pair of sterling silver short candlesticks, the sockets with an engraved design and flaring outline suggestive of a tulip blossom. The design has a nice Art Deco feel and is really much more interesting than the typical short candlesticks of this type. The bottoms are marked “Sterling” but have no maker’s mark.

Origin: America, ca. 1950. Condition: excellent, the bottom edge of one stick has a few truly pinpoint-sized dings (not really visible except when upside down)...

Two unique art glass bowls by Asa (Åsa) Brandt, Sweden. ÅB is said to have been the first glass artist in Europe to set up her own independent studio, in 1968. A bowl or ashtray in black, still transparent glass. No marks, but Italian (Murano) and probably by Alfredo Barbini, 1950's. The interior iridescent in "oily" rainbow or mother-of-pearl shades so that, in combination with the lobed design, a sea-shell effect is created. The exterior also iridescent, in a metal-like shade. Generous redware teapot by Dybdahl, Denmark, 1960’s. The inside, the spout and handle, rim and lid with a smooth transparent glaze, the rest unglazed. Impressed, stamped decoration of little masks or stylized sun faces. In the studio of Palle and Margrethe Dybdahl Margrethe did the wheel throwing and the decorations and Palle the glazes. The teapot takes 1.2 litres and pours well. Width spout to handle "10 / 26 cm. Condition: some roughness around the spout.
