A terrific Art Deco spun aluminum ice bucket for chilling wine and champagne. The front is decorated with a copper plaque depicting the label of a very well-known French winery in Alsace. The winery is famous for its Riesling, but also for Crémant, a sparkling wine native to Alsace. Alsatian wines are traditionally bottled in tall, narrow bottles, hence the shape of this bucket. The bottom is marked "URBA Made In France"...

Utilizing the ancient technique of feathering Glass in a modern expression, this stylized bird illustrates the skill of the Murano Maestros interpretation of the Venetian Lagoons' environment. This beauty is 8"hx4"x2", unmarked, in excellent condition, probably made in the 1970's.

Silver plated Repousse Jewelry Box on three(3) curved feet with hinged dome top, Continental origin, 4 3/8" high, 6 1/2" wide-widest part top rim with hinged top, spray of floral branches around the entire box, red velvet lined inside the box. Silver plate is worn some areas.

The condition is good.

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1116B fan vase in amethyst. (This color is a green ceramic wash applied over crystal glass.) The vase is approximately 7 1/2 inches high and in perfect condition. It features a crystal clear stem of man in a top hat wearing a monocle (looks like the Planter Peanut's man.) The flared art deco amber blown bowl darkens as it forms the base, that is then attached to the stem. The foot is also amber and is blown, finished glass that is also attached to the clear stem He stands 5 1/4" high and is in perfect, unused condition. Highly collectible...

This beautiful sterling silver case was originally meant for cigarettes but could just as easily hold business cards or ???. It is lavishly engraved with an all-over swirling pattern and bears the initials FC in script. The case is 3 1/4" x 2 3/4". It is hallmarked for Birmingham, England, sterling silver, and 1927-28. The maker's mark is FHA & Co.

Made in the 1950's, master glass artist Gundersen created this cased vase using cranberry and custard glass. Many people will mistake it as "burmese" glass -- it is definitely a cased glass. Measures 3" high by 4.5" wide. It does have a pontil on the bottom. In mint condition.

An attractive, colorful frit paperweight showing a pair of hearts shot through with an arrow and surrounded by a laurel wreath and the word "Friendship," all against a bright mottled umbrella ground. The pontil is ground and frosted. The glass is nicely free of striae and bubbles. The quality of workmanship is quite good, and the weight is certainly the handiwork of one of the better West Virginia glass makers, possibly Gentile.

Origin: America, ca. 1950...

Round decorative tile of an early steamship atop a Sherwin-Williams-type schematic earth, diameter 7 3/8" and about 7/8" thick at the edges. This is a hand crafted and no doubt unique piece; hand painted, and glazed. On the reverse is scratched into the ceramic what I take to be apparently the date: "11-7-22". There are two holes drilled at the top, through which a wire has been strung, to allow this to hang on a wall. See several thousand paintings, drawings and prints in my shop.

This is a Large TEA STRAINER from a South American SILVERSMITH: CASA OSCAR MACHADO. Research shows likely of Venezualan or Argentinian origin this SILVER TEA STRAINER Measures 8 1/2" in Length with a Bowl 3" across. Very nice sterling silver Colonial-style porringer by Alvin Silver Co. Sterling porringers are a traditional gift for newborns, serving as a feeding dish. They are also suitable for mint/nut dishes or wine bottle coasters. The bottom is marked "Lullaby Sterling" which is a division of Alvin.

Origin: America, mid-20th century. Condition: excellent, a pinpoint ding on one side near the handle. Size: 4" diameter (excluding handle); 1-1/4" high. Weight: 61.5 grams.

This fantastic vaseline tumbler is by Fenton Glass as part of a tea or chocolate set. This bright art nouveau vaseline tumbler features two dramatic wheel cut flowers and leaves surrounding the blown panel bowl. The pulled cobalt blue handle is applied. The bottom is smooth with a finished pontil. This elegant piece of art glass is in excellent, unused condition and stands 5 1/4" tall.

There is the usual overall crazing on this wonderful art deco vase. It measures 61/2" wide, 6" tall, and 3" deep.

There are no chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs. This item is in excellent condition.

Sculpted modern sommerso bowl in crystal glass profusely infused with silver foil. The form casts a rich golden hue similar to the colors one finds around Venice at certain times of day. The form is in excellent condition, measures 5"x5"x2"h, unmarked.

A vintage mid century modernist salt spoon by William Spratling in sterling silver and ebony. From Spratling's 3rd design period.

The ebony wood and sterling salt spoon measures 3 1/4" long. Marked with the conjoined 'WS' and an eagle mark that is partially struck. It is in fine condition with some tarnish and a very minor ding.
