This set of 6 porcelain tea cups and saucers was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1940s or 1950s. The saucers are 4 7/8 inches in diameter and the cups are 1 3/4 inches high. The fine translucent porcelain has a molded swirl pattern. They are hand painted with Dresden type floral painting in vivid colors. Condition: Excellent

A bowl or ashtray in black, still transparent glass. No marks, but Italian (Murano) and probably by Alfredo Barbini, 1950's. The interior iridescent in "oily" rainbow or mother-of-pearl shades so that, in combination with the lobed design, a sea-shell effect is created. The exterior also iridescent, in a metal-like shade. Width: 3 ¾"/10 cm, height: 2"/5 cm. Condition: small nick to bottom at 3 o'clock as shown in the photo, otherwise fine.

Charming stylized sculpture of a scotty dog. This design is documented in Judith Millers' 20thCENTURY GLASS, page 115, dated 1950's and valued there at $150-200. Measuring 9"h x 3.5"w x 8.5"d, the scotty dog has been well cared for and is in excellent condition.

Fancy milk glass tumblers with vertical red stripes made by Hazel Atlas Glass in the 1950's. Pattern is called Candy Stripe, each glass is 5" tall and holds 10 oz. 2 are available, both in mint condition.

A mid-century modern Italian art glass 9 x 7" bowl made by Fratelli Toso of Murano, Italy in the 1950s. This bowl has a light orange colour at the bottom with a clear glass upper region with controlled bubbles - also known as bullicante. This charming pair of vintage glass hound dogs, made by Archimede Seguso in the "nero a macchie di smalto bianco" (black with white spots) style in the 1950s. Documented in "Archimede Seguso, Lace & Stone" by Leslie Pina, P. 162, 213. Both are in excellent condition, with the dark-headed one having a few minor scuffs consistent with its age. This porcelain and silver tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Freidrich Deusch silver company circa 1950. The set retains its original paper labels which cover the porcelain blank mark. The saucer is 6 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 inches high. A delightful design of hand painted birds and flowers is outlined in silver. It is a rare and desirable set to find. Really Unusual Murano ORANGE Sommerso and GOLD FLECKS Art Glass WOMAN Candlestick Sculpture!!! Her face is incredibly detailed. She is carrying a large Vase on her head, and has a Gold Leaf Scarf and Belt, with her breasts Exposed! The piece has an Orange Core, and triangle Skirt that lets her stand up. Still doing research on the attribution, but consistent with Salviati pieces. It has NO damage (chips, nicks, fleabites or impact marks)...

The top of the boxer's left ear has a paint scrape- very small. He is 11 inches long and 5 3/4" tall.

Peach Crest is the name for this wonderful Fenton pattern that combines ruby glass cased over milk glass and then finished with a clear edge. This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. It has both an impressed shield and printed mark. It is 8 1/8 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches deep. The porcelain is designed with molded ribs and slight scallops on the rim. It is hand painted with a bouquet of flowers in the center and little buds dotting the border. The rim is trimmed with gold. Rich and Elegant Murano Cased BLACK and GOLD FLECKS Art Glass PULEGOSO Bowl!!! Attributed to Archimede SEGUSO and Alfredo BARBINI. Though the "shape" is too generic to tell them apart, the technique is hard to find and color combination sought after by collectors of both Artists! The piece is very thick and heavy for its size. There are some scratches to the outside of the body, but hard to see unless turned over...

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the late 1950s. It has the name of the artist, F. Heidenreich, impressed in the base. The group measures 5 1/2 inches high, 7 1/2 inches long and 6 inches deep. It is a depiction of a pair of frisky Borzoi dogs. The dogs are modeled delicately, with fine detail. Their faces are beautiful. There are many slender limbs, so it must have been difficult to keep the porcelain from failing as it was being made...

This is a really pretty cobalt blue Vertical Ribbed Mixing or Kitchen Bowl made by Hazel Atlas Glass. This mixing bowl measures 7 3/4 inches in diameter X 3 inches high. Fiesta ware Vintage Ivory Cream Soup is 5" wide at the bowl edges, 6.25" at the handles. It is about 2.25" high. Made from 1936-59.

Striking, tall, double sommerso vase form by Fratelli Toso. Interior gather of soft gold toned transparent glass emerges in sommerso from a heavy green lip, cased in crystal. The form is blown into a rib mold with green canne applied at the high points of the ribs. This vase is a fine example of mid-century innovation of traditional techniques. Measuring 6.75" (top dimension) x 12" tall, the vase is in good condition, bears the J.I. CO. import label, unmarked.

The sophisticated designer arrangement of murrine in this paperweight is notable. The leaf murrine can be found in other Toso paperweights. The green center of the flower murrine is nicely tied in to the leaf motif. The murrine are cased in crystal and this lattice type layer of murrine gives the weight a nice airy quality. Measuring 3.75 dia. x 2.75"h., the paperweight is in excellent condition, unmarked.
