This is a really nice depression glass green Floral and Diamond Band 8 inch high flat water pitcher made by U. S. Glass from 1927 to 1931. This pitcher holds 42 ounces and is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is a little 1/8 inch black stone in the glass in the bottom of the pitcher (done in the making). This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1930s. It has first quality crossed swords under glaze. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches and is 1 inch deep. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. A beautiful bird sits on a flowering branch while in insect flutters by. The style is Japanese Kakiemon, done in shades of blue, green. and violet. The cup is sparsely decorated with a flower sprig here and a bug, in a minimalist manner...
