A purple bowl of swirl shape in the style of Beranek – Skrdlovice – or Klinger – Zelezny Brod Sklo /ZBS. The Czech glassworks like many other industries were nationalised. This bowl originally must have been produced for the Skoda car factory since it bears the Skoda mark (in use from 1929). Length "5½/ 14 cm. Condition: wear to the base and a scratch mark near the base.

Rose Crest is was produced by Fenton from 1944 to 1947. It was originally made as an exclusive for Weil Freeman Company in 1944, but when they didn't renew the contract, Fenton added it to their regular line and continued production until 1947. A rare Fostoria Manor 2443 etch 286 green elegant glass bowl circa 1930s. This Art Deco period 12" x 5-1/2" oval centrepiece bowl in the Manor pattern etch 286 was only produced by the Fostoria Glass Company in the green color from 1931-1935. This three cup candelabra (which may be turned upside down) measures 5" tall and is 7 1/8" in length. On the underside of one of the cups is painted Sweden 26III; on another the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia and the painter's mark of a star. The cups are hand painted in blue, yellow and red. Excellent condition.
