Fostoria made two kinds of Morning Glory. One etched and the other sand carved. This sand carved bowl was made between 1939-44. It is in excellent condition.

Modern lighting design thought to be a Gio Ponti design. A ceiling chandelier in the same design is on page 96 of CATALOGUE RAISONNE' by Anna Venini.

Hocking Glass Waterford Covered Butter (crystal) is in mint condition. This item measures 7" across and about 4" high with the lid on. Produced from 1938-1944.

In Venice Italy, these Obelisks were recently included in Fondazione Cini's exhibition "Paolo Venini and His Furnace," and are documented in the exhibition catalogue, page 308, model 4300. Constructed of thick canes twisted into a zanfrico design, this is a fine example of utilizing the traditional Venetian technique of zanfrico in a modern expression. The Obelisk has the 2 acid stamps: venini murano, made in Italy, measures 8" tall, and is in good condition.

Co., Roseville, Ohio, USA.” These larger crocks are perfect for your antique kitchen implements such as rolling pins, large wooden spoons, etc. Excellent condition, no chips. A beautiful Murano glass handkerchief vase, made probably by Barovier & Toso (designer: Ercole Barovier) around 1950. The vase is made up of poly-chrome fused canes on a colorless ground glass. The vase is 4 3/4 inches (12 cm) wide and 3 3/4 inches (9,5 cm) tall. Fine condition. Polished pontil. Unsigned.

This porcelain figural group was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in the 1940s. It measures 9 inches long and 5 1/4 inches high. It has an inscribed artist's name, K. Tutter, in the base. The subject matter of this group is quite comical. A naked cherub is fleeing from the attack of an angry goose. The little fellow is just "barely" getting away. The porcelain is modeled with great delicacy. The hand painting ads charm and detail. Condition: Excellent.
