Number 9 in a series of 12 Fornasetti plates commissioned in the 1970’s by Martini & Rossi. Each plate depicts an item in their wine museum in Pessione, in this case the first barrel – Il Primo Tino - used for the fabrication of the famous Martini vermouth. Pessione is a village in northern Italy, not far from Torino. The back of the plate gives a contextual presentation of the plate and has the Fornasetti brush in hand mark. Diameter "9 ¼ / 23.7 cm. Condition: fine.

This really pretty Paneled Grape Ruby Flashed Cup and Saucer set was made by Westmoreland Glass from 1940 to 1980. The Cup measures 3 7/8 inches across the top. The Saucer measures 5 5/8 inches in diameter. Both the Cup and Saucer are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The ruby flashing is all very good. This Cup and Saucer is hard to find. Two beautiful and very thinly potted bowls by Sven Hofverberg in his experimental studio in south Sweden. One gold glazed to the interior, the other with an iridescent interior glaze in red and dark blue. The exterior of both with incised striations. The incisions of the smaller bowl are iridescent. The optic melon body shows deep swelling panels that swirl and shine through the neck to the deeply ruffled rim. It has a faint Fenton imprint on the bottom. This is a really pretty pair of ruby red Coin 8 Inch high single Candle Sticks made by Fostoria Glass. Both candle sticks are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or cloudiness, however the one candle stick has a black 1/8 inch smudge in the glass at the top of the candle holder.
