This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1920s. It is signed on the base by the artist, Himmelstoss. It is 7 1/4 inches high. The piece is styled in the art deco manner. The modeling is simple and the colors are subtle. From her dress and braids down her back, you can see she is a country girl. Condition: Excellent

The figurine measures 11 1/4 inches high and 9 1/4 wide. It is beautifully modeled with fine details. The young, beautiful mother is assisting her infant to take his first steps. It has a classical elegance and yet a modern 1940s stylized look. The figures are realistically hand painted. Condition: Excellent.

The group measures 5 1/2 inches high, 7 1/2 inches long and 6 inches deep. It is a depiction of a pair of frisky Borzoi dogs. The dogs are modeled delicately, with fine detail. Their faces are beautiful. There are many slender limbs, so it must have been difficult to keep the porcelain from failing as it was being made...

The bright red petals are arranged in a double row around a sulfur yellow millefiori center and are accented with a green stem and a pair of leaves. The Chinese copied this design from New England Glass Company paperweights of the 19th century. The glass in this example is relatively good quality, with only few small bubbles, and is considerably larger than many examples...

This Akro Agate lady milk glass powder jar is 6 3/8" tall. The diameter of the base is 3 7/8". It is hallmarked "Made in the U.S. of America." It also has the AKro Agate mark in the center. This item is in excellent condition. There are no repairs, no chips and no cracks.

A fine example of Dino Martens' masterful use of the mezza filigrana technique on a modern interpretation of the platter form. The platter has a skillfully applied ring foot and remnants of its label. The piece is in excellent condition and is 11.25"x 3.5"h.

Sculpted mid century bowl in sommerso with murrines, cane, and gold foil. The sommerso transition from the plum colored rim to the lattimo exterior allows considerable visual depth to the murrine arrangement. Exquisite Barovier bowl and pestle set profusely filled with an aventurine gold spiral pattern on the interior with an exterior thread of blue/green lattimo. The rim of the bowl has a scissor cut which lends a dramatic modern aesthetic to the form. It is unusual to find these sets together. This one is a beauty! It is 7"x2"h, in excellent condition, unmarked, but clearly Barovier.
