Tiffin Twilight Cornucopia using the Duncan and Miller mold. Made in the 1960's. This cornucopia is 14 inches long and about 4.5 inches wide at the mouth. In excellent condition. The color, twilight, changes color depending on the light source -- in incandescent & sunlight, it turns lavendar; under fluorescent lighting, it turns ice blue!!

Imperial Cape Cod Sherbet measures 5" tall and about 3" wide at the top. It is in mint condition. 2 are available.

This porcelain vase was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen before 1970. It is 6 1/2 inches high and 5 1/4 inches wide. There are artist's initials and inventory numbers on the bottom, 104 over 396. The vase is ovoid but somewhat flattened. It has an interesting crackle glaze imitating the Chinese Satsuma style. There are stylized fruits and flowers hand painted on both sides. It is trimmed with gold, top and bottom. Condition: This handsome vase is in excellent condition.

A unique piece, made of a tropical wood, 12 1/4" by 6" by 3 1/4", the box hinged, opening from the top, revealing scooped-out recesses when opened. A bird incised with a burning tool and the date 1964 also so incised appear on the front portion that opens out. On the sides, likewise, a design is burned into the wood. This appears to me to be of Caribbean (Haitian?), Mexican/Central American or South American origin, though I suppose it could be African (I think, much less likely)...

Candle holder or small vase by Liisa Hallamaa for Arabia, stoneware, the upper part with eruptive glaze effects. In 1950 LA joined the Arabia company, where she became a great experimenter and innovator of glazes before opening up a studio of her own in 1971. Signed LH Arabia. This is a truly exceptional example of the artistry of Berndt Friberg. This very large vase measures 15 1/4" (39cm) and is 3 1/2" (9cm) in diameter. On the underside is incised Friberg with the Gustavsberg Studio Hand insignia. The date code c signifies this vase was created in 1961. The blue/brown haresfur glaze is perfection.

The green/olive colored ewer is 6 inches tall and 5 1/4 inches wide at its widest; the clear one is 5 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches wide at its widest. Both ewers are in excellent condition. This set of 6 fruit knives, stainless steel blades and porcelain handles, was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby before 1970. They are 8 1/2 inches long. They are in a silk lined fitted box. The handles are fine bone china. They are decorated with a floral transfer decoration which is painted over by hand. The stainless steel blades have a serrated edge. Condition: Excellent. They have never been used.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen. The D-J factory closed in 1984. It was a relatively small factory with limited production. The model number is 1032 which we believe was modeled before 1970. It is 4 3/4 inches high and 3 1/2 inches across the wings. This duckling is a spunky little guy. His modeling captures his lively personality. He is hand painted with shades of brown and beige giving him a soft appearance. Condition: Excellent, first quality...

It has never been in a shop or auction, but has an important provenance and was procured directly from Friberg. It is without any flaws, which is extremely rare for a piece of this size.
