A sterling silver vermouth dispenser in the form of a watering can by Cartier. When tipped, the dispenser lightly sprinkles just a drip of vermouth into the glass for the perfect martini. Although the detailed design is similar, each of these Spratling candlesticks were handwrought a few years apart. Each carries specific Spratling hallmarks coinciding with their construction dates. The earlier example is 2 1/8" high. The later is 2 1/4" high. Each measures 2 1/4" across at the base. The pair weigh 155 grams. Both are in beautiful condition. Original hand thrown and hand enameled vase by Gilbert Portanier (France, born 1926). This vase measures roughly 7", with a diameter at the base of 5". It is signed with Portanier's distinctive monogram near the base. In excellent condition except for a glaze chip near the mouth of the vase. Portanier is one of the most important ceramic artists in the second half of the twentieth century in France.

Nice Art Deco brass cocktail shaker in the form of a wine bottle. The bottle separates at the shoulders to reveal the strainer and the lip of the bottle removes for pouring. The bottom of the shaker is indented just as a glass wine bottle is. We’ve had many figural cocktail shakers, but this is the first bottle we’ve had.
