A brilliant red transparent lucite jewelry box or dresser box, the hinged lid inset with a sterling silver medallion illustrating a pair of lovebirds. The interior of the lid has a small round mirror. The medallion is stamped "Sterling" and has a design patent number registered in 1945.

Pair of decorative leather bound bookends with brass accents. Silver tone metal mounts of a Griffon accent the brass; gold tone stitching accents the rich brown leather. Bears logo of Mark Cross in gold on the bottom of each piece. The bookends measure 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) tall, 5.5 inches (14 cm) deep and 6.25 inches (15.9 cm) wide. Some scuffs and marks from use, but no rips or tears to the leather, nor dents to the metal. Circa 1960.
