Set of Six(6) Cafe style painted Wood folding chairs and one(1) folding table, this set consist of five(5) chairs and one(1) table, total six(6) pieces, painted on solid wood, each chair and tables are painted in different colors and stamped writing "cafe" and "restaurant", and "name of places" in black, easy to store and carry for occasional events in ourdoor or indoor. Liseaux Sand Library Pair Vintage are a very cool and unusual pair of French club chairs. Rare to find them in this off white or sand color. From our Fine Arts and Americana Collection, a nice set of vintage American nightstands dating from the 1950's, constructed of solid hardwood with Carpathian Elm burl veneers.

Not much is known about the Bethlehem Furniture Manufacturing Corp. of Red Lion Pennsylvania that crafted this set, but they were apparently a small niche manufacturer active from the late 19th century up until the mid 20th century...

A vintage Japanese contemporary low Mizuya Tansu made from solid Keyaki (Zelkova) wood. Two sliding doors open to a spacious storage area. Three side by side drawers along the bottom with Hikute iron handles. Taiko drum nail heads decorate the sliding doors and horizontal side bars add structural strength as well as aesthetic beauty to the chest.

A mid century Japanese Biraki Kimono Tansu (chest with hinged doors) made entirely of Kiri (Paulownia) Wood. Two large hinged doors open to a set of three Kimono trays. Side handles used for carrying the tansu from place to place. Front door plates feature Paulownia flowers and leaves.

Deep, low, comfortable lounge chairs. This pair of French leather club chairs were built in the mid 1960s. They are one of the largest pair of chairs we've had in a long time. This is a 9 drawer leather chest, that can be used for a number of things, but is perfect as a jewelry chest. It was made by Maitland Smith and is extremely heavy. The drawers are black lacquer on the inside, and brown leather with gold trim on the outside. It is signed on the inside of the top drawer. It measures 42" tall x 10" wide x 11" deep. It is in good condition with some wear to the leather.

An Art Deco Dressing Table Mirror with a Stylized Cornucopia Frame. Dimensions; 21" wide x 22" high x 9" deep. American, circa 1930 and in excellent condition.

A fine quality water pot for use on the scholars desk. The porcelain is very white and translucent. The fine blue art work shows two five toed dragons chasing the flaming pearl. There is a six character Guangxu Dynasty mark on the base, but it is not the mark used by the Royal Kiln. As the pot is not Imperial Ware we believe it was made during the Republic Period in Guangxu Style...

A Chinese Huanghuali low rectangular table. The surrounding apron and stretchers features infinity rings. The top is a floating panel with framed mitered corners, with reddish-brown oolaration, In the Ming style.

Tall Chinese hardwood cabinet in two sections, elaborately carved all over with scenes of eight dragons in light color wood on dark hardwood ground carved with swirling clouds, rocks and waves. The sides of the cabinet are also made of dark hardwood and carved with scrolling key fret motif. Brass hardware is incised with matching key fret and chimera designs. c. 1950. Total size: 86 " high x 35 1/4" wide x 15 3/4" deep (bottom section is 66 1/2" high. top section is 19 1/2" high)

A vintage Chinese coffer altar cabinet in the Ming style made entirely of Huanghuali wood including the back and the interior shelves. All original brass square plate and loop handles with a pair of double hinged doors and 3 side by side drawers above. With classic spandrels and apron for the feet. The maker spared no expense using the finest quality materials and joinery craftsmanship in producing this piece.

Dining table and 8 wishbone chairs by Arthur Espenet (1920-2006). Espenet was born in New York and later settled in Bolinas, California. He was a self taught master woodworker and furniture maker with pieces in the collections of the Smithsonian Institute, The Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.

Schmieg & Kotzian were master craftsmen who moved from England to the United States. Established in 1897, the company was active until 1954. They were renouned for their exquisite design and superior quality traditional handcraftmanship. Among pieces of traditional furniture, they also made cabinets for Steinway pianos.
