Wonderful unique hand carved black forest style barometer with pair of horses highlighting the design. Probably dates to mid-century. Has opaque glass thermometer backboard with handpainted numerals. This is a very nice sword walking stick that features two lions heads as the handle. Carved in ivory, this stick measures 40 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 1 3/4". The handle itself measures 5 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 1 3/4". The collar is 1", the ferrule is 1 1/2" and the length of the blade of the sword is 25". Quite a weapon!
