A fine and rare antique Native American North West Coast Haida or Tlingit tribe carved large horn spoon or ladle. The handle depicts a totem pole design of an Eagle and Bear with mother of pearl inset eyes. Measuring approx. 13.5" inches long 6" deep and 4.5"wide. A fine larger carving in emerald of an Owl Fetish, Native American, probably Zuni, Navaho tribe and 20th. century.

The carving is cut and polished in one emerald stone and depicts an Owl. The stone is transperant light blue-green and very beautiful.

A watercolor mixed media (some pencil and perhaps gouache) painting of a weathered Native American or other classic male image of the Southwest, signed at lower left "J W Kolstad". The piece measures 10 1/2" by 10 1/2" inside the black mat and 18" by 17" as framed. Reminiscent of some works by Remington or Lon Megargee, this is a very satisfying southwestern piece. Condition is excellent. The date of execution would likely be 1960's or 1970's.

A very large and impressive plaque for a bracelet of belt, with loops on the back and set with a huge torquise stone within a frame of 23 smaller torquise stones. Lovely silver work, c. mid 20th. century USA, Navaho Tribe artist. No stamps but testet as 925 sterling silver.

Size: 10,1 cm. tall and 7,4 cm. wide. The large central torquise is 6 cm. long.

Weight: 164,4 grams!

Condition: Choice and intact.

An exceptionally early work in ink and watercolor by the familiar New Mexico artist PERCY TSISETE SANDY ("KAI SA"), 1918-1974. Measurements are 6 1/2" by 4 1/4" (11 3/4" by 9" simply framed). The subject is a traditional eagle dancer of the Hopi people in full costume. The work is signed at lower right "KA-SAH", ("Red Moon"), apparently an early signature; on the old original remaining backing is written in pencil "purchased on Mother & Daddy's honeymoon 7/41"...
